WordfortheWay.net is now legit!!

We’ve successfully registered our domain name WordfortheWay.net. This is a major milestone in the site’s brief existence.

The big difference for you, the reader, is the removal of all of those pesky ads! I really got tired of those. This registration also opens up some more functionality for me as the administrator of the site. (I’ve got some more learning to do.)

Stay tuned for an even better Word for the Way!

Finally Done!!

I’m happy to say that I finally finished scheduling the 12 month Bible Reading portion of the blog. Whew!! Now that was a chore. The daily blogs that have each day’s Bible Reading coincide with the Monthly Bible Reading Charts on the blog as well as the ones we passed out at the Lighthouse Church.

I underestimated the amount of time that it would take me to complete this phase (by a whole lot). It ended up taking about 80 hours to finish it. I had to put everything else I had scheduled for the blog on hold pending completion of this. I was afraid to stop.

Here are a few stats. The King James Version of the Bible has:

66 Books — 39 Old Testament + 27 New Testament

1,189 Chapters

31,102 Verses

789,650 Words
