Salmo 130:1-8 (NVI)

1 A ti, Señor, elevo mi clamor desde las profundidades del abismo.
2 Escucha, Señor, mi voz. Estén atentos tus oídos a mi voz suplicante.
3 Si tú, Señor, tuvieras en cuenta los pecados, ¿quién, Señor, sería declarado inocente?
4 Pero en ti se halla perdón, y por eso debes ser temido.
5 Espero al Señor, lo espero con toda el alma; en su palabra he puesto mi esperanza.
6 Espero al Señor con toda el alma, más que los centinelas la mañana. Como esperan los centinelas la mañana,
7 así tú, Israel, espera al Señor. Porque en él hay amor inagotable; en él hay plena redención.
8 Él mismo redimirá a Israel de todos sus pecados.

1 Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord;
2 Lord, hear my voice! let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3 If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope.
6 My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning— Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.
7 O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is abundant redemption.
8 And He shall redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

Mateo 6:1-4 (NVI)

1 Cuidaos de no hacer vuestras obras de justicia delante de la gente para llamar la atención. Si actuáis así, vuestro Padre que está en el cielo no os dará ninguna recompensa.

2 Por eso, cuando des a los necesitados, no lo anuncies al son de trompeta, como lo hacen los hipócritas en las sinagogas y en las calles para que la gente les rinda homenaje. Os aseguro que ellos ya han recibido toda su recompensa.

3 Más bien, cuando des a los necesitados, que no se entere tu mano izquierda de lo que hace la derecha,

4 para que tu limosna sea en secreto. Así tu Padre, que ve lo que se hace en secreto, te recompensará.

Matthew 6:1-4 (NKJV)

1 “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.

2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

Hebrews 11:1-7 (NKJV)

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.

5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

7 By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Isaías 40:1-5 (NVI)

1 ¡Consolad, consolad a mi pueblo! —dice vuestro Dios—.

2 Hablad con cariño a Jerusalén, y anunciadle que ya ha cumplido su tiempo de servicio, que ya ha pagado por su iniquidad, que ya ha recibido de la mano del Señor el doble por todos sus pecados.

3 Una voz proclama: «Preparad en el desierto un camino para el Señor; enderezad en la estepa un sendero para nuestro Dios.

4 Que se levanten todos los valles, y se allanen todos los montes y colinas; que el terreno escabroso se nivele y se alisen las quebradas.

5 Entonces se revelará la gloria del Señor, y la verá toda la humanidad. El Señor mismo lo ha dicho».

Números 6:22-27 (NVI)

22 El Señor le ordenó a Moisés: 23«Diles a Aarón y a sus hijos que impartan la bendición a los israelitas con estas palabras:

24 »“El Señor te bendiga y te guarde;

25 el Señor te mire con agrado y te extienda su amor;

26 el Señor te muestre su favor y te conceda la paz”.

27 »Así invocarán mi nombre sobre los israelitas, para que yo los bendiga».
