Proverbios 16:1-9 (NVI)

1 El hombre propone y Dios dispone.
2 A cada uno le parece correcto su proceder, pero el Señor juzga los motivos.
3 Pon en manos del Señor todas tus obras, y tus proyectos se cumplirán.
4 Toda obra del Señor tiene un propósito; ¡hasta el malvado fue hecho para el día del desastre!
5 El Señor aborrece a los arrogantes. Una cosa es segura: no quedarán impunes.
6 Con amor y verdad se perdona el pecado, y con temor del Señor se evita el mal.
7 Cuando el Señor aprueba la conducta de un hombre, hasta con sus enemigos lo reconcilia.
8 Más vale tener poco con justicia que ganar mucho con injusticia.
9 El corazón del hombre traza su rumbo, pero sus pasos los dirige el Señor.

Proverbs 16:1-9 (NKJV)

1 We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer.
2 People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives.
3 Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
4 The Lord has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.
5 The Lord detests the proud; they will surely be punished.
6 Unfailing love and faithfulness make atonement for sin. By fearing the Lord, people avoid evil.
7 When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them.
8 Better to have little, with godliness, than to be rich and dishonest.
9 We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

Santiago 4:7-10 (NVI)

7 Así que someteos a Dios. Resistid al diablo, y él huirá de vosotros.
8 Acercaos a Dios, y él se acercará a vosotros. ¡Pecadores, limpiaos las manos! ¡Vosotros los inconstantes, purificad vuestro corazón!
9 Reconoced vuestras miserias, llorad y lamentaos. Que vuestra risa se convierta en llanto, y vuestra alegría, en tristeza.
10 Humillaos delante del Señor, y él os exaltará.

James 4:7-10 (NKJV)

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Salmo 18:1-6 (NVI)

1 ¡Cuánto te amo, Señor, fuerza mía!
2 El Señor es mi roca, mi amparo, mi libertador; es mi Dios, el peñasco en que me refugio. Es mi escudo, el poder que me salva, ¡mi más alto escondite!
3 Invoco al Señor, que es digno de alabanza, y quedo a salvo de mis enemigos.
4 Los lazos de la muerte me envolvieron; los torrentes destructores me abrumaron.
5 Me enredaron los lazos del sepulcro, y me encontré ante las trampas de la muerte.
6 En mi angustia invoqué al Señor; clamé a mi Dios, y él me escuchó desde su templo; ¡mi clamor llegó a sus oídos!

Psalms 18:1-6 (NKJV)

1 I will love You, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

1 Timoteo 6:11-16 (NVI)

11 Tú, en cambio, hombre de Dios, huye de todo eso, y esmérate en seguir la justicia, la piedad, la fe, el amor, la constancia y la humildad.
12 Pelea la buena batalla de la fe; haz tuya la vida eterna, a la que fuiste llamado y por la cual hiciste aquella admirable declaración de fe delante de muchos testigos.
13 Teniendo a Dios por testigo, el cual da vida a todas las cosas, y a Cristo Jesús, que dio su admirable testimonio delante de Poncio Pilato, te encargo
14 que guardes este mandato sin mancha ni reproche hasta la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
15 la cual Dios a su debido tiempo hará que se cumpla. Al único y bendito Soberano, Rey de reyes y Señor de señores,
16 al único inmortal, que vive en luz inaccesible, a quien nadie ha visto ni puede ver, a él sea el honor y el poder eternamente. Amén.

1 Timothy 6:11-16 (NKJV)

11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
13 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate,
14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,
15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

Hebreos 12:12-17 (NVI)

12 Por tanto, renovad las fuerzas de vuestras manos cansadas y de vuestras rodillas debilitadas.
13 «Haced sendas derechas para vuestros pies», para que la pierna coja no se disloque, sino que se sane.
14 Buscad la paz con todos, y la santidad, sin la cual nadie verá al Señor.
15 Aseguraos de que nadie deje de alcanzar la gracia de Dios; de que ninguna raíz amarga brote y cause dificultades y corrompa a muchos;
16 y de que nadie sea inmoral ni profano como Esaú, quien por un solo plato de comida vendió sus derechos de hijo mayor.
17 Después, como ya sabéis, cuando quiso heredar esa bendición, fue rechazado: No se le dio lugar para el arrepentimiento, aunque con lágrimas buscó la bendición.

Hebrews 12:12-17 (NKJV)

12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees,
13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.
14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
16 lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.
17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.
