Gálatas 5:16-26 (NVI)

16 Así que os digo: Vivid por el Espíritu, y no seguiréis los deseos de la naturaleza pecaminosa.
17 Porque esta desea lo que es contrario al Espíritu, y el Espíritu desea lo que es contrario a ella. Los dos se oponen entre sí, de modo que no podéis hacer lo que quisierais.
18 Pero, si os guía el Espíritu, no estáis bajo la ley.
19 Las obras de la naturaleza pecaminosa se conocen bien: inmoralidad sexual, impureza y libertinaje;
20 idolatría y brujería; odio, discordia, celos, arrebatos de ira, rivalidades, disensiones, sectarismos
21 y envidia; borracheras, orgías, y otras cosas parecidas. Os advierto ahora, como antes lo hice, que los que practican tales cosas no heredarán el reino de Dios.
22 En cambio, el fruto del Espíritu es amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, amabilidad, bondad, fidelidad,
23 humildad y dominio propio. No hay ley que condene estas cosas.
24 Los que son de Cristo Jesús han crucificado la naturaleza pecaminosa, con sus pasiones y deseos.
25 Si el Espíritu nos da vida, andemos guiados por el Espíritu.
26 No dejemos que la vanidad nos lleve a irritarnos y a envidiarnos unos a otros.

Galatians 5:16-26 (NKJV)

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Salmo 139:16-24 (NVI)

16 Tus ojos vieron mi cuerpo en gestación: todo estaba ya escrito en tu libro; todos mis días se estaban diseñando, aunque no existía uno solo de ellos.
17 ¡Cuán preciosos, oh Dios, me son tus pensamientos! ¡Cuán inmensa es la suma de ellos!
18 Si me propusiera contarlos, sumarían más que los granos de arena. Y, si terminara de hacerlo, aún estaría a tu lado.
19 Oh Dios, ¡si les quitaras la vida a los impíos! ¡Si de mí se apartara la gente sanguinaria,
20 esos que con malicia te difaman y que en vano se rebelan contra ti!
21 ¿Acaso no aborrezco, Señor, a los que te odian, y abomino a los que te rechazan?
22 El odio que les tengo es un odio implacable; ¡los cuento entre mis enemigos!
23 Examíname, oh Dios, y sondea mi corazón; ponme a prueba y sondea mis pensamientos.
24 Fíjate en si voy por mal camino, y guíame por el camino eterno.

Romans 12:9-21 (NKJV)

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Proverbios 16:1-3 (NVI)

1 El hombre propone y Dios dispone.
2 A cada uno le parece correcto su proceder, pero el Señor juzga los motivos.
3 Pon en manos del Señor todas tus obras, y tus proyectos se cumplirán.

Proverbs 16:1-3 (NKJV)

1 The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits.
3 Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.

Gálatas 1:6-10 (NVI)

6 Me asombra que tan pronto estéis dejando a quien os llamó por la gracia de Cristo, para pasaros a otro evangelio.
7 No es que haya otro evangelio, sino que ciertos individuos están sembrando confusión entre vosotros y quieren tergiversar el evangelio de Cristo.
8 Pero, aun si alguno de nosotros o un ángel del cielo os predicara un evangelio distinto del que os hemos predicado, ¡que caiga bajo maldición!
9 Como ya lo hemos dicho, ahora lo repito: si alguien os anda predicando un evangelio distinto del que recibisteis, ¡que caiga bajo maldición!
10 ¿Qué busco con esto: ganarme la aprobación humana o la de Dios? ¿Pensáis que procuro agradar a los demás? Si yo buscara agradar a otros, no sería siervo de Cristo.

Galatians 1:6-10 (NKJV)

6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,
7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
