2 Pedro 3:1-9 (NVI)
1 Queridos hermanos, esta es ya la segunda carta que os escribo. En las dos he procurado refrescaros la memoria para que, con una mente íntegra, 
2 recordéis las palabras que los santos profetas pronunciaron en el pasado, y el mandamiento que dio nuestro Señor y Salvador por medio de los apóstoles.
3 Ante todo, debéis saber que en los últimos días vendrá gente burlona que, siguiendo sus malos deseos, se mofará: 
4 «¿Qué hubo de esa promesa de su venida? Nuestros padres murieron, y nada ha cambiado desde el principio de la creación». 
5 Pero intencionadamente olvidan que desde tiempos antiguos, por la palabra de Dios, existía el cielo y también la tierra, que surgió del agua y mediante el agua. 
6 Por la palabra y el agua, el mundo de aquel entonces pereció inundado. 
7 Y ahora, por esa misma palabra, el cielo y la tierra están guardados para el fuego, reservados para el día del juicio y de la destrucción de los impíos.
8 Pero no olvidéis, queridos hermanos, que para el Señor un día es como mil años, y mil años, como un día. 
9 El Señor no tarda en cumplir su promesa, según entienden algunos la tardanza. Más bien, él tiene paciencia con vosotros, porque no quiere que nadie perezca, sino que todos se arrepientan.

2 Peter 3:1-9 (NKJV)
1 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 
2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 
3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 
4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 
5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 
6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 
7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Romans 12:1-8 (NKJV)
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which  is your reasonable service. 
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 
4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 
5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let  us  use them: if prophecy, let  us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 
7 or ministry, let  us  use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 
8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Romanos 12:1-8 (NVI)
1 Por lo tanto, hermanos, tomando en cuenta la misericordia de Dios, os ruego que cada uno de vosotros, en adoración espiritual, ofrezca su cuerpo como sacrificio vivo, santo y agradable a Dios. 
2 No os amoldéis al mundo actual, sino sed transformados mediante la renovación de vuestra mente. Así podréis comprobar cuál es la voluntad de Dios, buena, agradable y perfecta.
3 Por la gracia que se me ha dado, os digo a todos vosotros: Nadie tenga un concepto de sí más alto que el que debe tener, sino más bien piense de sí mismo con moderación, según la medida de fe que Dios le haya dado. 
4 Pues, así como cada uno de nosotros tiene un solo cuerpo con muchos miembros, y no todos estos miembros desempeñan la misma función, 
5 también nosotros, siendo muchos, formamos un solo cuerpo en Cristo, y cada miembro está unido a todos los demás. 
6 Tenemos dones diferentes, según la gracia que se nos ha dado. Si el don de alguien es el de profecía, que lo use en proporción con su fe; 
7 si es el de prestar un servicio, que lo preste; si es el de enseñar, que enseñe; 
8 si es el de animar a otros, que los anime; si es el de socorrer a los necesitados, que dé con generosidad; si es el de dirigir, que dirija con esmero; si es el de mostrar compasión, que lo haga con alegría.

Isaías 26:1-4, 7-9

1 En aquel día se entonará esta canción en la tierra de Judá: Tenemos una ciudad fuerte.
Como un muro, como un baluarte, Dios ha puesto su salvación.
2 Abrid las puertas, para que entre la nación justa que se mantiene fiel.
3 Al de carácter firme lo guardarás en perfecta paz, porque en ti confía.
4 Confiad en el Señor para siempre, porque el Señor es una Roca eterna.

7 La senda del justo es llana; tú, que eres recto, allanas su camino.
8 Sí, en ti esperamos, Señor, y en la senda de tus juicios;
tu nombre y tu memoria son el deseo de nuestra vida.
9 Todo mi ser te desea por las noches; por la mañana mi espíritu te busca.
Pues, cuando tus juicios llegan a la tierra, los habitantes del mundo aprenden lo que es justicia.

Isaiah 26:1-4, 7-9 (NKJV)

1 In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:
We have a strong city; God will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks.
2 Open the gates, That the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.
3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
4 Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.

7 The way of the just is uprightness; O Most Upright, You weigh the path of the just.
8 Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You.
9 With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth,
The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Lucas 6:27-36 (NVI)
27 Pero a vosotros que me escucháis os digo: Amad a vuestros enemigos, haced bien a quienes os odian, 
28 bendecid a quienes os maldicen, orad por quienes os maltratan. 
29 Si alguien te pega en una mejilla, vuélvele también la otra. Si alguien te quita la camisa, no le impidas que se lleve también la capa. 
30 Dale a todo el que te pida y, si alguien se lleva lo que es tuyo, no se lo reclames. 
31 Tratad a los demás tal y como queréis que ellos os traten a vosotros.
32 ¿Qué mérito tenéis al amar a quienes os aman? Aun los pecadores hacen así. 
33 ¿Y qué mérito tenéis al hacer bien a quienes os hacen bien? Aun los pecadores actúan así. 
34 ¿Y qué mérito tenéis al dar prestado a quienes pueden corresponderos? Aun los pecadores se prestan entre sí, esperando recibir el mismo trato. 
35 Vosotros, por el contrario, amad a vuestros enemigos, hacedles bien y dadles prestado sin esperar nada a cambio. Así tendréis una gran recompensa y seréis hijos del Altísimo, porque él es bondadoso con los ingratos y malvados. 
36 Sed compasivos, así como vuestro Padre es compasivo.

Luke 6:27-36 (NKJV)
27 But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 
28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 
29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 
30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 
31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
32 But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 
33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 
34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 
35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 
36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

Salmo 147:1-11 (NVI)
1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabado sea el Señor ! ¡Cuán bueno es cantar salmos a nuestro Dios, cuán agradable y justo es alabarlo!
2 El Señor reconstruye Jerusalén y reúne a los exiliados de Israel;
3 restaura a los de corazón quebrantado y cubre con vendas sus heridas.
4 Él determina el número de las estrellas y a todas ellas les pone nombre .
5 Excelso es nuestro Señor, y grande su poder; su entendimiento es infinito;
6 El Señor sostiene a los pobres, pero hace morder el polvo a los impíos.
7 Cantad al Señor con gratitud; cantad salmos a nuestro Dios al son del arpa.
8 Él cubre de nubes el cielo, envía la lluvia sobre la tierra y hace crecer la hierba en los montes.
9 Él alimenta a los ganados y a las crías de los cuervos cuando graznan.
10 El Señor no se deleita en los bríos del caballo, ni se complace en la fuerza del hombre ,
11 sino que se complace en los que le temen, en los que confían en su gran amor.

Psalms 147:1-11 (NKJV)
1 Praise the Lord ! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.
4 He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.
5 Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.
6 The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.
