As He Is, So Are We In This World

1 John 4:15-21 (NKJV)
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 
19 We love Him because He first loved us.
20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 
21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

En Este Mundo Hemos Vivido Como Vivió Jesús.

1 Juan 4:15-21 (NVI)
15 Si alguien reconoce que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios, Dios permanece en él, y él en Dios. 
16 Y nosotros hemos llegado a saber y creer que Dios nos ama. Dios es amor. El que permanece en amor permanece en Dios, y Dios en él. 
17 Ese amor se manifiesta plenamente entre nosotros para que en el día del juicio comparezcamos con toda confianza, porque en este mundo hemos vivido como vivió Jesús. En el amor no hay temor, 
18 sino que el amor perfecto echa fuera el temor. El que teme espera el castigo, así que no ha sido perfeccionado en el amor.
19 Nosotros amamos porque él nos amó primero. 
20 Si alguien afirma: «Yo amo a Dios», pero odia a su hermano, es un mentiroso; pues el que no ama a su hermano, a quien ha visto, no puede amar a Dios, a quien no ha visto. 
21 Y él nos ha dado este mandamiento: el que ama a Dios, ame también a su hermano.

The Lord Has Been My Defense

Psalms 94:14-22 (NKJV)
14 For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
15 But judgment will return to righteousness, And all the upright in heart will follow it.
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless the Lord had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence.
18 If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.
19 In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
20 Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You?
21 They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood.
22 But the Lord has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge.

El Señor Es Mi Protector

Salmos 94:14-20 (NVI)
14 El Señor no rechazará a su pueblo; no dejará a su herencia en el abandono.
15 El juicio volverá a basarse en la justicia, y todos los rectos de corazón lo seguirán.
16 ¿Quién se levantó a defenderme de los impíos? ¿Quién se puso de mi parte contra los malhechores?
17 Si el Señor no me hubiera brindado su ayuda, muy pronto me habría quedado en mortal silencio.
18 Apenas decía: «Mis pies resbalan», cuando ya tu amor, Señor, venía en mi ayuda.
19 Cuando en mí la angustia iba en aumento, tu consuelo llenaba mi alma de alegría.
20 ¿Podrías ser amigo de reyes corruptos de reyes corruptos que por decreto fraguan la maldad,
21 que conspiran contra la gente honrada y condenan a muerte al inocente?
22 Pero el Señor es mi protector, es mi Dios y la roca en que me refugio.

Anxiety In The Heart

Proverbs 12:24-28 (NKJV)
24 The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.
25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.
26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.
27 The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.
28 In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there  is no death.

Angustia En El Corazón

Proverbios 12:24-28 (NVI)
24 El de manos diligentes gobernará; pero el perezoso será subyugado.
25 La angustia abate el corazón del hombre, pero una palabra amable lo alegra.
26 El justo es guía de su prójimo, Texto de difícil traducción. pero el camino del malvado lleva a la perdición.
27 El perezoso no atrapa presa, no atrapa presa. Alt. no pone a asar lo que ha cazado. Texto de difícil traducción. pero el diligente ya posee una gran riqueza.
28 En el camino de la justicia se halla la vida; por ese camino se evita la muerte.

This Is The Message

1 John 1:5-10 (NKJ V)

5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 

6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 

10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Este Es El Mensaje

1 Juan 1:5-10 (NVI)

5 Este es el mensaje que hemos oído de él y que os anunciamos: Dios es luz y en él no hay ninguna oscuridad. 

6 Si afirmamos que tenemos comunión con él, pero vivimos en la oscuridad, mentimos y no ponemos en práctica la verdad. 

7 Pero, si vivimos en la luz, así como él está en la luz, tenemos comunión unos con otros, y la sangre de su Hijo Jesucristo nos limpia de todo pecado.

8 Si afirmamos que no tenemos pecado, nos engañamos a nosotros mismos y no tenemos la verdad. 

9 Si confesamos nuestros pecados, Dios, que es fiel y justo, nos los perdonará y nos limpiará de toda maldad. 

10 Si afirmamos que no hemos pecado, lo hacemos pasar por mentiroso y su palabra no habita en nosotros.

The Bond of Perfection

Colossians 3:12-17 (NKJV)

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 

13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 

14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 

17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

El Vínculo Perfecto

Colosenses 3:12-17 (NVI)

12 Por lo tanto, como escogidos de Dios, santos y amados, revestíos de afecto entrañable y de bondad, humildad, amabilidad y paciencia, 

13 de modo que os toleréis unos a otros y os perdonéis si alguno tiene queja contra otro. Así como el Señor os perdonó, perdonad también vosotros. 

14 Por encima de todo, vestíos de amor, que es el vínculo perfecto.

15 Que gobierne en vuestros corazones la paz de Cristo, a la cual fuisteis llamados en un solo cuerpo. Y sed agradecidos. 

16 Que habite en vosotros la palabra de Cristo con toda su riqueza: instruíos y aconsejaos unos a otros con toda sabiduría; cantad salmos, himnos y canciones espirituales a Dios, con gratitud de corazón. 

17 Y todo lo que hagáis, de palabra o de obra, hacedlo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, dando gracias a Dios el Padre por medio de él.
