I am excited today to bring another growth report to you with the statistics for the month of July. It was another great month of growth for this ministry.
We increased our number of “official” followers in July from 27 to 32. That’s an 18% growth rate. If you haven’t yet clicked that Follow button, go ahead and do that today. as a result, going forward you will receive a notification whenever there is a new WordfortheWay.com post.
Not only did we increase our followers in July but we also increased our total country count by 20%. We added seven new countries. That brings our total up from 35 to 42 countries that Word for the Way has touched since the beginning of the year. The only word that comes close to describing how I feel about this is: AWESOME!

The purpose of Word for the Way is to bring the Word of God into the lives of people around the world. We know that God has promised us that His Word will accomplish the purpose for which it is sent. I would like to encourage each of you to make this list of countries a matter of prayer. Pray that everyone who reads the scriptures that we share will be open and will be strengthened, encouraged, and blessed by what they read.

I have just completed recording WordfortheWay.com’s very first audio podcast! As you can probably tell, I am super excited about it. It took four takes to get it right. We still have to edit, mix, and master the track, but at least we have taken the first step towards that next level.
We are scheduled to have published our first podcasts by mid-September if possible. I’m still in the learning phase of accomplishing the technical ins and outs, so prayers are very much appreciated.

As I celebrate Independence Day and all the freedom that I, as an American citizen, enjoy. I can’t help but reflect just a moment on the people who live in areas of our world where the freedom that I often take for granted is not allowed. WordfortheWay.com is now being viewed in more than 30 countries—in some of these countries my Christian brothers and sisters are being persecuted for their faith. Preachers in these places often preach knowing that they could be jailed (or worse) for doing so. Please take just a moment with me and say a prayer on behalf the precious believers in these sensitive areas of our world.

Listing these countries with each growth report serves a dual purpose. First, I want to share with you the global impact that I believe we are having. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, I am hoping that each of you will take just a moment and pray that the individuals in these various places around our world would allow the Word of God that we are sharing to have its full impact in their hearts and lives.

Word for the Way is growing! And I’m excited about that. We just hit the “25 followers” mile-marker. That’s great. However, it gets even better!
Since we started our journey together, almost five months ago, we have had over 3,400 guests from twenty different countries stop by for a visit. Here is the list of countries (in alphabetical order):

It is sobering to look over the ever-growing list of countries that are being exposed to God’s Word through our efforts here at Word for the Way. Isaiah 55:11 says, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (KJV) I believe that the Lord is using Word for the Way to strengthen His Church. It’s an honor to get to serve the Lord in this way.

We were able to secure the “.com” domain name for Word for the Way yesterday. Starting today, you will be able to use eitherWordfortheWay.net or WordfortheWay.com to get your daily dose of God’s Word. This is an important addition for our long-term growth strategy. I thank the Lord for allowing this domain name to become available and providing the means for us to acquire it.
Let me also take time to thank all of our followers. I appeciate that fact that you have chosen to follow Word for the Way. There are some exciting new things in our very near future. I think you’ll enjoy them. I covet your prayers as we continue to develop and grow together.
The official opening of the Word for the Way blog was December 30, 2018. Since that time we’ve gained 15 followers. I’m so excited to have reached this mile-marker. I can hardly wait until we reach 25, then 50, then 100, then…. Who knows?
