Psalms 19:1-14 (NKJV)

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.
2 Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
6 Its rising is from one end of heaven, and its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

1 Crónicas 29:10-13 (NVI)

10 Entonces David bendijo así al Señor en presencia de toda la asamblea: «¡Bendito seas, Señor, Dios de nuestro padre Israel, desde siempre y para siempre!

10 Therefore David blessed the Lord before all the assembly; and David said: “Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever.
11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head over all.
12 Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.
13 Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.”

Romanos 5:1-5 (NVI)

1 En consecuencia, ya que hemos sido justificados mediante la fe, tenemos paz con Dios por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Proverbios 16:1-9 (NVI)

1 El hombre propone y Dios dispone.
2 A cada uno le parece correcto su proceder, pero el Señor juzga los motivos.
3 Pon en manos del Señor todas tus obras, y tus proyectos se cumplirán.
4 Toda obra del Señor tiene un propósito; ¡hasta el malvado fue hecho para el día del desastre!
5 El Señor aborrece a los arrogantes. Una cosa es segura: no quedarán impunes.
6 Con amor y verdad se perdona el pecado, y con temor del Señor se evita el mal.
7 Cuando el Señor aprueba la conducta de un hombre, hasta con sus enemigos lo reconcilia.
8 Más vale tener poco con justicia que ganar mucho con injusticia.
9 El corazón del hombre traza su rumbo, pero sus pasos los dirige el Señor.

1 We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer.
2 People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives.
3 Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.
4 The Lord has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.
5 The Lord detests the proud; they will surely be punished.
6 Unfailing love and faithfulness make atonement for sin. By fearing the Lord, people avoid evil.
7 When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them.
8 Better to have little, with godliness, than to be rich and dishonest.
9 We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

Santiago 4:7-10 (NVI)

7 Así que someteos a Dios. Resistid al diablo, y él huirá de vosotros.
8 Acercaos a Dios, y él se acercará a vosotros. ¡Pecadores, limpiaos las manos! ¡Vosotros los inconstantes, purificad vuestro corazón!
9 Reconoced vuestras miserias, llorad y lamentaos. Que vuestra risa se convierta en llanto, y vuestra alegría, en tristeza.
10 Humillaos delante del Señor, y él os exaltará.

James 4:7-10 (NKJV)

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
