Salmos 56:3 (NVI)
1 Ten compasión de mí, oh Dios,
pues hay gente que me persigue.
Todo el día me atacan mis opresores,
2 todo el día me persiguen mis adversarios;
son muchos los arrogantes que me atacan.
3 Cuando siento miedo,
pongo en ti mi confianza.
4 Confío en Dios y alabo su palabra;
confío en Dios y no siento miedo.
¿Qué puede hacerme un simple mortal?

Colossians 4:1-6 (NKJV)
1 Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;
3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,
4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Colosenses 4:1-6 (NVI)
1Amos, proporcionad a vuestros esclavos lo que es justo y equitativo, conscientes de que vosotros también tenéis un Amo en el cielo.
2 Dedicaos a la oración: perseverad en ella con agradecimiento
3 y, al mismo tiempo, interceded por nosotros a fin de que Dios nos abra las puertas para proclamar la palabra, el misterio de Cristo por el cual estoy preso.
4 Orad para que yo lo anuncie con claridad, como debo hacerlo.
5 Comportaos sabiamente con los que no creen en Cristo, aprovechando al máximo cada momento oportuno.
6 Que vuestra conversación sea siempre amena y de buen gusto. Así sabréis cómo responder a cada uno.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NKJV)
1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.
2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.
8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

1 Tesalonicenses 5:1-11 (NVI)
1 Ahora bien, hermanos, no necesitáis que os escriba acerca de tiempos y fechas,
2 porque ya sabéis que el día del Señor llegará como ladrón en la noche.
3 Cuando estén diciendo: «Paz y seguridad», vendrá de improviso sobre ellos la destrucción, como le llegan a la mujer encinta los dolores de parto. De ninguna manera podrán escapar.
4 Vosotros, en cambio, hermanos, no estáis en la oscuridad para que ese día os sorprenda como un ladrón.
5 Todos vosotros sois hijos de la luz y del día. No somos de la noche ni de la oscuridad.
6 No debemos, pues, dormirnos como los demás, sino mantenernos alerta y en nuestro sano juicio.
7 Los que duermen, de noche duermen, y los que se emborrachan, de noche se emborrachan.
8 Nosotros que somos del día, por el contrario, estemos siempre en nuestro sano juicio, protegidos por la coraza de la fe y del amor, y por el casco de la esperanza de salvación;
9 pues Dios no nos destinó a sufrir el castigo, sino a recibir la salvación por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
10 Él murió por nosotros para que, en la vida o en la muerte, vivamos con él.
11 Por eso, animaos y edificaos unos a otros, tal como lo venís haciendo.

Isaiah 25:1-8 (NKJV)
1 O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
2 For You have made a city a ruin,
A fortified city a ruin,
A palace of foreigners to be a city no more;
It will never be rebuilt.
3 Therefore the strong people will glorify You;
The city of the terrible nations will fear You.
4 For You have been a strength to the poor,
A strength to the needy in his distress,
A refuge from the storm,
A shade from the heat;
For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
5 You will reduce the noise of aliens,
As heat in a dry place;
As heat in the shadow of a cloud,
The song of the terrible ones will be diminished.
6 And in this mountain
The Lord of hosts will make for all people
A feast of choice pieces,
A feast of wines on the lees,
Of fat things full of marrow,
Of well-refined wines on the lees.
7 And He will destroy on this mountain
The surface of the covering cast over all people,
And the veil that is spread over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death forever,
And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces;
The rebuke of His people
He will take away from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.

Isaías 25:1-8 (NVI)
1 Señor, tú eres mi Dios;
te exaltaré y alabaré tu nombre
porque has hecho maravillas.
Desde tiempos antiguos
tus planes son fieles y seguros.
2 Has convertido la ciudad en un montón de escombros,
la ciudad fortificada en una ruina.
Ya no es ciudad la ciudadela de extranjeros;
nunca más volverá a ser reconstruida.
3 Por eso te glorifica un pueblo poderoso;
te teme la ciudad de las naciones crueles.
4 Porque tú has sido,
en su angustia,
un baluarte para el desvalido,
un refugio para el necesitado,
un resguardo contra la tormenta,
una sombra contra el calor.
En cambio, el aliento de los crueles
es como una tormenta contra un muro,
5 como el calor en el desierto.
Tú aplacas el tumulto de los extranjeros,
como se aplaca el calor bajo la sombra de una nube,
y ahogas la canción de los tiranos.
6 Sobre este monte, el Señor Todopoderoso
preparará para todos los pueblos
un banquete de manjares especiales,
un banquete de vinos añejos,
de manjares especiales y de selectos vinos añejos.
7 Sobre este monte rasgará
el velo que cubre a todos los pueblos,
el manto que envuelve a todas las naciones.
8 Devorará a la muerte para siempre;
el Señor omnipotente enjugará las lágrimas de todo rostro,
y quitará de toda la tierra
el oprobio de su pueblo.
El Señor mismo lo ha dicho.

Galatians 5:7-15 (NKJV)
7 You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?
8 This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you.
9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
10 I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.
11 And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.
12 I could wish that those who trouble you would even cut themselves off!
13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!

Galatas 5:14 (NVI)
7 Vosotros estabais corriendo bien. ¿Quién os estorbó para que dejarais de obedecer a la verdad?
8 Tal instigación no puede venir de Dios, que es quien os ha llamado.
9 «Un poco de levadura fermenta toda la masa».
10 Yo por mi parte confío en el Señor que no pensaréis de otra manera. El que os está perturbando será castigado, sea quien sea.
11 Hermanos, si es verdad que yo todavía predico la circuncisión, ¿por qué se me sigue persiguiendo? Si tal fuera mi predicación, la cruz no ofendería tanto.
12 ¡Ojalá que esos instigadores acabaran por mutilarse del todo!
13 Os hablo así, hermanos, porque habéis sido llamados a ser libres; pero no os valgáis de esa libertad para dar rienda suelta a vuestras pasiones. Más bien servíos unos a otros con amor.
14 En efecto, toda la ley se resume en un solo mandamiento: «Ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo».
15 Pero, si seguís mordiéndoos y devorándoos, tened cuidado, no sea que acabéis por destruiros unos a otros.
