James 5:13-18 (NKJV)
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

Santiago 5:13-18 (NVI)
13 ¿Está afligido alguno entre vosotros? Que ore. ¿Está alguno de buen ánimo? Que cante alabanzas. 
14 ¿Está enfermo alguno de vosotros? Haga llamar a los ancianos de la iglesia para que oren por él y lo unjan con aceite en el nombre del Señor. 
15 La oración de fe sanará al enfermo y el Señor lo levantará. Y, si ha pecado, su pecado se le perdonará. 
16 Por eso, confesaos unos a otros vuestros pecados, y orad unos por otros, para que seáis sanados. La oración del justo es poderosa y eficaz.
17 Elías era un hombre con debilidades como las nuestras. Con fervor oró que no lloviera, y no llovió sobre la tierra durante tres años y medio. 
18 Volvió a orar, y el cielo dio su lluvia y la tierra produjo sus frutos.

Matthew 7:24-29 (NKJV)
24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,
29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Mateo 7:24-29 (NVI)
24 »Por tanto, todo el que me oye estas palabras y las pone en práctica es como un hombre prudente que construyó su casa sobre la roca.
25 Vinieron las lluvias, crecieron los ríos, y soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa; con todo, la casa no se derrumbó porque estaba cimentada sobre la roca.
26 Pero todo el que me oye estas palabras y no las pone en práctica es como un hombre insensato que construyó su casa sobre la arena.
27 Vino la lluvia, crecieron los ríos, soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa. Esta se derrumbó, y grande fue su ruina».
28 Cuando Jesús terminó de decir estas cosas, las multitudes se asombraron de su enseñanza,
29 porque les enseñaba como quien tiene autoridad, y no como los maestros de la ley.

Romans 10:1-10 (NKJV)
1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 
2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 
3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
5 For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 
6 But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 
7 or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romanos 10:1-10 (NVI)
1 Hermanos, el deseo de mi corazón y mi oración a Dios por los israelitas es que lleguen a ser salvos. 
2 Puedo declarar en favor de ellos que muestran celo por Dios, pero su celo no se basa en el conocimiento. 
3 No conociendo la justicia que proviene de Dios y procurando establecer la suya propia, no se sometieron a la justicia de Dios.
4 De hecho, Cristo es la culminación de la Ley para que todo el que cree sea justificado.
5 Así describe Moisés la justicia que se basa en la Ley: «Quien practique estas cosas vivirá por ellas». 
6 Pero la justicia que se basa en la fe afirma: «No digas en tu corazón: “¿Quién subirá al cielo?” (es decir, para hacer bajar a Cristo),
7 “¿Quién bajará al abismo?”» (es decir, para hacer subir a Cristo de entre los muertos). 
8 ¿Qué afirma entonces? «La palabra está cerca de ti, la tienes en la boca y en el corazón». Esta es la palabra de fe que predicamos: 
9 que si confiesas con tu boca que Jesús es el Señor y crees en tu corazón que Dios lo levantó de entre los muertos, serás salvo. 
10 Porque con el corazón se cree para ser justificado, pero con la boca se confiesa para ser salvo.

Psalms 107:1-9 (NKJV)
1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,
Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,
3 And gathered out of the lands,
From the east and from the west,
From the north and from the south.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way;
They found no city to dwell in.
5 Hungry and thirsty,
Their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And He led them forth by the right way,
That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.
8 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness.

35 “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; 
36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. 
37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. 
38 And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 
39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 
40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Lucas 12:35-40 (NVI)
35 »Manténganse listos, con la ropa bien ajustada  y las lámparas encendidas. 
36Pórtense como siervos que esperan a que regrese su señor de un banquete de bodas, para abrirle la puerta tan pronto como él llegue y toque. 
37 Dichosos los siervos a quienes su señor encuentre pendientes de su llegada. Les aseguro que se ajustará la ropa, hará que los siervos se sienten a la mesa y él mismo se pondrá a servirles. 
38 Sí, dichosos aquellos siervos a quienes su señor encuentre preparados, aunque llegue a la medianoche o de madrugada.
39 Pero entiendan esto: si un dueño de casa supiera a qué hora va a llegar el ladrón, no lo dejaría forzar la entrada. 
40 Así mismo deben ustedes estar preparados, porque el Hijo del hombre vendrá cuando menos lo esperen.
