Proverbios 19:20-23 (NVI)
20 Escucha el consejo y acepta la corrección,
y llegarás a ser sabio.
21 El corazón humano genera muchos proyectos,
pero al final prevalecen los designios del Señor.
22 De todo hombre se espera lealtad.
Más vale ser pobre que mentiroso.
23 El temor del Señor conduce a la vida;
da un sueño tranquilo y evita los problemas.

Zephaniah 3:14-20 (NKJV)
14 Sing, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,
O daughter of Jerusalem!
15 The Lord has taken away your judgments,
He has cast out your enemy.
The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst;
You shall see disaster no more.
16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Do not fear;
Zion, let not your hands be weak.
17 The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
18 “I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly,
Who are among you,
To whom its reproach is a burden.
19 Behold, at that time
I will deal with all who afflict you;
I will save the lame,
And gather those who were driven out;
I will appoint them for praise and fame
In every land where they were put to shame.
20 At that time I will bring you back,
Even at the time I gather you;
For I will give you fame and praise
Among all the peoples of the earth,
When I return your captives before your eyes,”
Says the Lord.

Sofonías 3:14-20
14 ¡Lanza gritos de alegría, hija de Sión!
¡da gritos de victoria, Israel!
¡Regocíjate y alégrate de todo corazón,
hija de Jerusalén!
15 El Señor te ha levantado el castigo,
ha puesto en retirada a tus enemigos.
El Señor, rey de Israel, está en medio de ti:
nunca más temerás mal alguno.
16 Aquel día le dirán a Jerusalén:
«No temas, Sión, ni te desanimes,
17 porque el Señor tu Dios está en medio de ti
como guerrero victorioso.
Se deleitará en ti con gozo,
te renovará con su amor,
se alegrará por ti con cantos
18 como en los días de fiesta».
«Yo te libraré de las tristezas,
que son para ti una carga deshonrosa.
19 En aquel tiempo yo mismo me ocuparé
de todos los que te oprimen;
salvaré a la oveja que cojea
y juntaré a la descarriada.
Os daré a vosotros fama y renombre
en los países donde fueron avergonzados.
20 En aquel tiempo yo os traeré,
en aquel tiempo os reuniré.
Os daré a vosotros fama y renombre
entre todos los pueblos de la tierra
cuando yo os restaure
ante vuestros mismos ojos».
Así lo ha dicho el Señor.

John 11:14-27 (NKJV)
14 Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. 
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.”
16 Then Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with Him.”
17 So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. 
18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. 
19 And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
20 Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. 
21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 
22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”
23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 
26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

14 Por eso les dijo claramente:
―Lázaro ha muerto,
15 y por causa vuestra me alegro de no haber estado allí, para que creáis. Pero vamos a verlo.
16 Entonces Tomás, apodado el Gemelo, dijo a los otros discípulos:
―Vayamos también nosotros, para morir con él.
Jesús consuela a las hermanas de Lázaro
17 A su llegada, Jesús se encontró con que Lázaro llevaba ya cuatro días en el sepulcro.
18 Betania estaba cerca de Jerusalén, como a tres kilómetros de distancia,
19 y muchos judíos habían ido a casa de Marta y de María, a darles el pésame por la muerte de su hermano.
20 Cuando Marta supo que Jesús llegaba, fue a su encuentro; pero María se quedó en la casa.
21 ―Señor —dijo Marta a Jesús—, si hubieras estado aquí, mi hermano no habría muerto.
22 Pero yo sé que aun ahora Dios te dará todo lo que le pidas.
23 ―Tu hermano resucitará —le dijo Jesús.
24 ―Yo sé que resucitará en la resurrección, en el día final —respondió Marta.
25 Entonces Jesús le dijo: ―Yo soy la resurrección y la vida. El que cree en mí vivirá, aunque muera;
26 y todo el que vive y cree en mí no morirá jamás. ¿Crees esto?
27 ―Sí, Señor; yo creo que tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios, el que había de venir al mundo.

Psalms 27:7-14 (NKJV)
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!
Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”
9 Do not hide Your face from me;
Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
You have been my help;
Do not leave me nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me,
Then the Lord will take care of me.
11 Teach me Your way, O Lord,
And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.
12 Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries;
For false witnesses have risen against me,
And such as breathe out violence.
13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord

Salmos 27:7-14 (NVI)
7 Oye, Señor, mi voz cuando a ti clamo;
compadécete de mí y respóndeme.
8 El corazón me dice: «¡Busca su rostro!»
Y yo, Señor, tu rostro busco.
9 No te escondas de mí;
no rechaces, en tu enojo, a este siervo tuyo,
porque tú has sido mi ayuda.
No me desampares ni me abandones,
Dios de mi salvación.
10 Aunque mi padre y mi madre me abandonen,
el Señor me recibirá en sus brazos.
11 Guíame, Señor, por tu camino;
dirígeme por la senda de rectitud,

James 5:13-18 (NKJV)
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

Santiago 5:13-18 (NVI)
13 ¿Está afligido alguno entre vosotros? Que ore. ¿Está alguno de buen ánimo? Que cante alabanzas.
14 ¿Está enfermo alguno de vosotros? Haga llamar a los ancianos de la iglesia para que oren por él y lo unjan con aceite en el nombre del Señor.
15 La oración de fe sanará al enfermo y el Señor lo levantará. Y, si ha pecado, su pecado se le perdonará.
16 Por eso, confesaos unos a otros vuestros pecados, y orad unos por otros, para que seáis sanados. La oración del justo es poderosa y eficaz.
17 Elías era un hombre con debilidades como las nuestras. Con fervor oró que no lloviera, y no llovió sobre la tierra durante tres años y medio. \18 Volvió a orar, y el cielo dio su lluvia y la tierra produjo sus frutos.

Psalms 85:1-7 (NKJV)
1 Lord, You have been favorable to Your land;
You have brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people;
You have covered all their sin.
Selah
3 You have taken away all Your wrath;
You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger.
4 Restore us, O God of our salvation,
And cause Your anger toward us to cease.
5 Will You be angry with us forever?
Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?
6 Will You not revive us again,
That Your people may rejoice in You?
7 Show us Your mercy, Lord,
And grant us Your salvation.
