1 Pedro 5:5-11 (NVI)
5 Así mismo, jóvenes, someteos a los ancianos. Revestíos todos de humildad en vuestro trato mutuo, porque «Dios se opone a los orgullosos, pero da gracia a los humildes».
6 Humillaos, pues, bajo la poderosa mano de Dios, para que él os exalte a su debido tiempo.
7 Depositad en él toda ansiedad, porque él cuida de vosotros.
8 Practicad el dominio propio y manteneos alerta. Vuestro enemigo el diablo ronda como león rugiente, buscando a quién devorar.
9 Resistidlo, manteniéndoos firmes en la fe, sabiendo que vuestros hermanos en todo el mundo están soportando la misma clase de sufrimientos.
10 Y, después de que hayáis sufrido un poco de tiempo, Dios mismo, el Dios de toda gracia que os llamó a su gloria eterna en Cristo, os restaurará y os hará fuertes, firmes y estables.
11 A él sea el poder por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Ame

Salmo 100:1-5 (NVI)
1 Aclamad alegres al Señor , habitantes de toda la tierra;
2 adorad al Señor con regocijo. Presentaos ante él con cánticos de júbilo.
3 Reconoced que el Señor es Dios; él nos hizo, y somos suyos. Somos su pueblo, ovejas de su prado.
4 Entrad por sus puertas con acción de gracias; venid a sus atrios con himnos de alabanza; dadle gracias, alabad su nombre .
5 Porque el Señor es bueno y su gran amor es eterno; su fidelidad permanece para siempre.

Psalms 100:1-5 (NKJV)
1 Make a joyful shout to the Lord , all you lands!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.
3 Know that the Lord , He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

7 »Pedid, y se os dará; buscad, y encontraréis; llamad, y se os abrirá.
8 Porque todo el que pide, recibe; el que busca, encuentra; y al que llama, se le abre.
9 »¿Quién de vosotros, si su hijo le pide pan, le da una piedra?
10 ¿O si le pide un pescado, le da una serpiente?
11 Pues si vosotros, aun siendo malos, sabéis dar cosas buenas a vuestros hijos, ¡cuánto más vuestro Padre que está en el cielo dará cosas buenas a los que le pidan!
12 Así que en todo tratad a los demás tal y como queréis que ellos os traten a vosotros. De hecho, esto es la ley y los profetas.
13 »Entrad por la puerta estrecha. Porque es ancha la puerta y espacioso el camino que conduce a la destrucción, y muchos entran por ella.
14 Pero estrecha es la puerta y angosto el camino que conduce a la vida, y son pocos los que la encuentran.

Matthew 7:7-14 (NKJV)
7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
13 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Proverbios 9:1-11 (NVI)
1 La sabiduría construyó su casa y labró sus siete pilares.
2 Preparó un banquete, mezcló su vino y puso la mesa.
3 Envió a sus doncellas, y ahora clama desde lo más alto de la ciudad.
4 «¡Venid conmigo los inexpertos! —dice a los faltos de juicio—.
5 Venid, disfrutad de mi pan y bebed del vino que he mezclado.
6 Dejad vuestra insensatez, y viviréis; andaréis por el camino del discernimiento.
7 »El que corrige al burlón se gana que lo insulten; el que reprende al malvado se gana su desprecio.
8 No reprendas al insolente, no sea que acabe por odiarte; reprende al sabio, y te amará.

10 »El comienzo de la sabiduría es el temor del Señor ; conocer al Santo es tener discernimiento.

1 Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;
2 She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table.
3 She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city,
4 “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him,
5 “Come, eat of my bread And drink of the wine I have mixed.
6 Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding.
7 He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself.
8 Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.
9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabado sea el Señor ! Alabad, siervos del Señor , alabad el nombre del Señor.
2 Bendito sea el nombre del Señor , desde ahora y para siempre.
3 Desde la salida del sol hasta su ocaso, sea alabado el nombre del Señor.
4 El Señor domina sobre todas las naciones; su gloria está sobre los cielos.
5 ¿Quién como el Señor nuestro Dios, que tiene su trono en las alturas
6 y se digna contemplar los cielos y la tierra?
7 Él levanta del polvo al pobre y saca del muladar al necesitado;
8 los hace sentarse con príncipes, con los príncipes de su pueblo.
9 A la mujer estéril le da un hogar y le concede la dicha de ser madre. ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabado sea el Señor!

1 Praise the Lord ! Praise, O servants of the Lord , Praise the name of the Lord !
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time forth and forevermore!
3 From the rising of the sun to its going down The Lord ’s name is to be praised.
4 The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like the Lord our God, Who dwells on high,
6 Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?
7 He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap,
8 That He may seat him with princes— With the princes of His people.
9 He grants the barren woman a home, Like a joyful mother of children. Praise the Lord !
