1 John 1:5-10 (NKJ V)

5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 

6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 

10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

5 Este es el mensaje que hemos oído de él y que os anunciamos: Dios es luz y en él no hay ninguna oscuridad. 

6 Si afirmamos que tenemos comunión con él, pero vivimos en la oscuridad, mentimos y no ponemos en práctica la verdad. 

7 Pero, si vivimos en la luz, así como él está en la luz, tenemos comunión unos con otros, y la sangre de su Hijo Jesucristo nos limpia de todo pecado.

8 Si afirmamos que no tenemos pecado, nos engañamos a nosotros mismos y no tenemos la verdad. 

9 Si confesamos nuestros pecados, Dios, que es fiel y justo, nos los perdonará y nos limpiará de toda maldad. 

10 Si afirmamos que no hemos pecado, lo hacemos pasar por mentiroso y su palabra no habita en nosotros.

Colossians 3:12-17 (NKJV)

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 

13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 

14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 

17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Colosenses 3:12-17 (NVI)

12 Por lo tanto, como escogidos de Dios, santos y amados, revestíos de afecto entrañable y de bondad, humildad, amabilidad y paciencia, 

13 de modo que os toleréis unos a otros y os perdonéis si alguno tiene queja contra otro. Así como el Señor os perdonó, perdonad también vosotros. 

14 Por encima de todo, vestíos de amor, que es el vínculo perfecto.

15 Que gobierne en vuestros corazones la paz de Cristo, a la cual fuisteis llamados en un solo cuerpo. Y sed agradecidos. 

16 Que habite en vosotros la palabra de Cristo con toda su riqueza: instruíos y aconsejaos unos a otros con toda sabiduría; cantad salmos, himnos y canciones espirituales a Dios, con gratitud de corazón. 

17 Y todo lo que hagáis, de palabra o de obra, hacedlo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, dando gracias a Dios el Padre por medio de él.

Mark 8:34-38 (NKJV)

34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. 

36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 

37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 

38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

Marcos 8:34-38 (NVI)

34 Entonces llamó a la multitud y a sus discípulos. ―Si alguien quiere ser mi discípulo —les dijo—, que se niegue a sí mismo, lleve su cruz y me siga. 

35 Porque el que quiera salvar su vida la perderá; pero el que pierda su vida por mi causa y por el evangelio la salvará. 

36 ¿De qué sirve ganar el mundo entero si se pierde la vida? 

37 ¿O qué se puede dar a cambio de la vida? 

38 Si alguien se avergüenza de mí y de mis palabras en medio de esta generación adúltera y pecadora, también el Hijo del hombre se avergonzará de él cuando venga en la gloria de su Padre con los santos ángeles.

Galatians 5:19-26 (NKJV)

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,

21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Gálatas 5:19-26 (NVI)

19 Las obras de la naturaleza pecaminosa se conocen bien: inmoralidad sexual, impureza y libertinaje;

20 idolatría y brujería; odio, discordia, celos, arrebatos de ira, rivalidades, disensiones, sectarismos

21 y envidia; borracheras, orgías, y otras cosas parecidas. Os advierto ahora, como antes lo hice, que los que practican tales cosas no heredarán el reino de Dios.

22 En cambio, el fruto del Espíritu es amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, amabilidad, bondad, fidelidad,

23 humildad y dominio propio. No hay ley que condene estas cosas.

24 Los que son de Cristo Jesús han crucificado la naturaleza pecaminosa, con sus pasiones y deseos.

25 Si el Espíritu nos da vida, andemos guiados por el Espíritu.

26 No dejemos que la vanidad nos lleve a irritarnos y a envidiarnos unos a otros.

Matthew 9:35-38 (NKJV)

35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.

37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.

38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Mateo 9:35-38 (NVI)

35 Jesús recorría todos los pueblos y aldeas enseñando en las sinagogas, anunciando las buenas nuevas del reino y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia. 

36 Al ver a las multitudes, tuvo compasión de ellas, porque estaban agobiadas y desamparadas, como ovejas sin pastor. 

37 «La cosecha es abundante, pero son pocos los obreros —dijo a sus discípulos—. 

38 Rogad, por tanto, al Señor de la cosecha que envíe obreros a su campo».
