Las Armas Con Que Luchamos

1 Corintios 10:1-5 (NVI)

1 Por la ternura y la bondad de Cristo, yo, Pablo, apelo a vosotros personalmente; yo mismo que, según dicen, soy tímido cuando me encuentro cara a cara con vosotros, pero atrevido cuando estoy lejos.

2 Os ruego que cuando vaya no tenga que ser tan atrevido como me he propuesto ser con algunos que opinan que vivimos según criterios meramente humanos,

3 pues, aunque vivimos en el mundo, no libramos batallas como lo hace el mundo.

4 Las armas con que luchamos no son del mundo, sino que tienen el poder divino para derribar fortalezas.

5 Destruimos argumentos y toda altivez que se levanta contra el conocimiento de Dios, y llevamos cautivo todo pensamiento para que se someta a Cristo.

Revelation 21:1-8 (NKJV)

1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.”

6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Apocalipsis 21:1-9 (NVI)

1 Después vi un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva, porque el primer cielo y la primera tierra habían dejado de existir, lo mismo que el mar.

2 Vi además la ciudad santa, la nueva Jerusalén, que bajaba del cielo, procedente de Dios, preparada como una novia hermosamente vestida para su prometido.

3 Oí una potente voz que provenía del trono y decía: «¡Aquí, entre los seres humanos, está la morada de Dios! Él acampará en medio de ellos, y ellos serán su pueblo; Dios mismo estará con ellos y será su Dios.

4 Él les enjugará toda lágrima de los ojos. Ya no habrá muerte, ni llanto, ni lamento ni dolor, porque las primeras cosas han dejado de existir».

5 El que estaba sentado en el trono dijo: «¡Yo hago nuevas todas las cosas!» Y añadió: «Escribe, porque estas palabras son verdaderas y dignas de confianza».

6 También me dijo: «Ya todo está hecho. Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el Principio y el Fin. Al que tenga sed le daré a beber gratuitamente de la fuente del agua de la vida.

7 El que salga vencedor heredará todo esto, y yo seré su Dios y él será mi hijo.

8 Pero los cobardes, los incrédulos, los abominables, los asesinos, los que cometen inmoralidades sexuales, los que practican artes mágicas, los idólatras y todos los mentirosos recibirán como herencia el lago de fuego y azufre. Esta es la segunda muerte».

9 Se acercó uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas llenas con las últimas siete plagas. Me habló así: «Ven, que te voy a presentar a la novia, la esposa del Cordero».

Love For One Another

John 13:1-9; 12-17; 34-35 (NKJV)

1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

2 And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him,

3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,

4 rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself.

5 After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

6 Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, “Lord, are You washing my feet?”

7 Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.”

8 Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet!”
Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.”

9 Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”

12 So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? 

13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 

14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. 

15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 

16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 

17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.”

34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 

35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Si Os Amáis Unos A Otros

Juan 13:1-9; 12-17; 34-35 (NVI)

1 Estaba cerca la fiesta de la Pascua. Jesús sabía que le había llegado la hora de abandonar este mundo para volver al Padre. Y, habiendo amado a los suyos que estaban en el mundo, los amó hasta el fin. hasta el fin. Alt. hasta lo sumo.

2 Llegó la hora de la cena. El diablo ya había incitado a Judas Iscariote, hijo de Simón, para que traicionara a Jesús.

3 Sabía Jesús que el Padre había puesto todas las cosas bajo su dominio, y que había salido de Dios y a él volvía;

4 así que se levantó de la mesa, se quitó el manto y se ató una toalla a la cintura.

5 Luego echó agua en un recipiente y comenzó a lavarles los pies a sus discípulos y a secárselos con la toalla que llevaba en la cintura.

6 Cuando llegó a Simón Pedro, este le dijo: ―¿Y tú, Señor, me vas a lavar los pies a mí?

7 ―Ahora no entiendes lo que estoy haciendo —respondió Jesús—, pero lo entenderás más tarde.

8 ―¡No! —protestó Pedro—. ¡Jamás me lavarás los pies!
―Si no te los lavo,13:8 te los lavo. Lit. te lavo. no tendrás parte conmigo.

9 ―Entonces, Señor, ¡no solo los pies, sino también las manos y la cabeza!

12 Cuando terminó de lavarles los pies, se puso el manto y volvió a su lugar. Entonces les dijo: ―¿Entendéis lo que he hecho con vosotros?

13 Vosotros me llamáis Maestro y Señor, y decís bien, porque lo soy.

14 Pues, si yo, el Señor y el Maestro, os he lavado los pies, también vosotros debéis lavaros los pies unos a otros.

15 Os he dado ejemplo, para que hagáis lo mismo que yo he hecho con vosotros.

16 Ciertamente os aseguro que ningún siervo es más que su amo, y ningún mensajero es más que el que lo envió.

17 ¿Entendéis esto? Dichosos seréis si lo ponéis en práctica.

34 »Este mandamiento nuevo os doy: que os améis los unos a los otros. Así como yo os he amado, también vosotros debéis amaros unos a otros.

35 De este modo todos sabrán que sois mis discípulos, si os amáis unos a otros».

Many Members, Yet One Body

1 Corinthians 12:20-27 (NKJV)

20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.

21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.

23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,

24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it,

25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

Muchos Miembros, Pero El Cuerpo Es Uno Solo

1 Corintios 12:20-27 (NVI)

20 Lo cierto es que hay muchos miembros, pero el cuerpo es uno solo.

21 El ojo no puede decirle a la mano: «No te necesito». Ni puede la cabeza decir a los pies: «No os necesito».

22 Al contrario, los miembros del cuerpo que parecen más débiles son indispensables,

23 y a los que nos parecen menos honrosos los tratamos con honra especial. Y se trata con especial modestia a los miembros que nos parecen menos presentables,

24 mientras que los más presentables no requieren trato especial. Así Dios ha dispuesto los miembros de nuestro cuerpo, dando mayor honra a los que menos tenían,

25 a fin de que no haya división en el cuerpo, sino que sus miembros se preocupen por igual unos por otros.

26 Si uno de los miembros sufre, los demás comparten su sufrimiento; y, si uno de ellos recibe honor, los demás se alegran con él.

27 Ahora bien, vosotros sois el cuerpo de Cristo, y cada uno es miembro de ese cuerpo.

Psalmos 34:1-10 (NVI)

1 Bendeciré al Señor en todo tiempo; mis labios siempre lo alabarán.
2 Mi alma se gloría en el Señor; lo oirán los humildes y se alegrarán.
3 Engrandeced al Señor conmigo; exaltemos a una su nombre.
4 Busqué al Señor, y él me respondió; me libró de todos mis temores.
5 Radiantes están los que a él acuden; jamás su rostro se cubre de vergüenza.
6 Este pobre clamó, y el Señor lo oyó y lo libró de todas sus angustias.
7 El ángel del Señor acampa en torno a los que lo temen; a su lado está para librarlos.
8 Probad y ved que el Señor es bueno; dichosos los que en él se refugian.
9 Temed al Señor, vosotros sus santos, pues nada les falta a los que le temen.
10 Los leoncillos se debilitan y tienen hambre, pero a los que buscan al Señor nada les falta.

Taste And See

Psalms 34:1-10 (NKJV)

1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.
8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

Psalmos 119:113-120

113 Aborrezco a los hipócritas, pero amo tu ley.

114 Tú eres mi escondite y mi escudo; en tu palabra he puesto mi esperanza.

115 ¡Malhechores, apartaos de mí, que quiero cumplir los mandamientos de mi Dios!

116 Sostenme conforme a tu promesa, y viviré; no defraudes mis esperanzas.

117 Defiéndeme, y estaré a salvo; siempre optaré por tus decretos.

118 Tú rechazas a los que se desvían de tus decretos, porque solo maquinan falsedades.

119 Tú desechas como escoria a los impíos de la tierra; por eso amo tus estatutos.

120 Mi cuerpo se estremece por el temor que me inspiras; siento reverencia por tus leyes.
