Psalms 119:113-120 (NKJV)

113 I hate the double-minded, But I love Your law.

114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.

115 Depart from me, you evildoers, For I will keep the commandments of my God!

116 Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.

117 Hold me up, and I shall be safe, And I shall observe Your statutes continually.

118 You reject all those who stray from Your statutes, For their deceit is falsehood.

119 You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross; Therefore I love Your testimonies.

120 My flesh trembles for fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments.

1 Corintios 6:15-20 (NVI)

15 ¿No sabéis que vuestros cuerpos son miembros de Cristo mismo? ¿Tomaré acaso los miembros de Cristo para unirlos con una prostituta? ¡Jamás!

16 ¿No sabéis que el que se une a una prostituta se hace un solo cuerpo con ella? Pues la Escritura dice: «Los dos llegarán a ser un solo cuerpo».

17 Pero el que se une al Señor se hace uno con él en espíritu.

18 Huyan de la inmoralidad sexual. Todos los demás pecados que una persona comete quedan fuera de su cuerpo; pero el que comete inmoralidades sexuales peca contra su propio cuerpo.

19 ¿Acaso no sabéis que vuestro cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo, quien está en vosotros y que habéis recibido de parte de Dios? No sois vosotros vuestros propios dueños;

20 Fuisteis comprados por un precio. Por tanto, honrad con vuestro cuerpo a Dios.

1 Corinthians 6:15-20 (NKJV)

15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 

16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 

17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Efesios 3:14-21 (NVI)

14 Por esta razón me arrodillo delante del Padre,

15 de quien recibe nombre toda familia en el cielo y en la tierra.

16 Le pido que, por medio del Espíritu y con el poder que procede de sus gloriosas riquezas, os fortalezca en lo íntimo de vuestro ser,

17 para que por fe Cristo habite en vuestros corazones. Y pido que, arraigados y cimentados en amor,

18 podáis comprender, junto con todos los santos , cuán ancho y largo, alto y profundo es el amor de Cristo;

19 en fin, que conozcáis ese amor que sobrepasa nuestro conocimiento, para que seáis llenos de la plenitud de Dios.

20 Al que puede hacer muchísimo más que todo lo que podamos imaginarnos o pedir, por el poder que obra eficazmente en nosotros,

21 ¡a él sea la gloria en la iglesia y en Cristo Jesús por todas las generaciones, por los siglos de los siglos! Amén.

Ephesians 3:14-21 (NKJV)

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 

15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 

19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 

21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Juan 16:25-33 (NVI)

25 »Os he dicho todo esto por medio de comparaciones, pero viene la hora en que ya no os hablaré así, sino que os hablaré claramente acerca de mi Padre. 

26 En aquel día pediréis en mi nombre. Y no digo que voy a rogar por vosotros al Padre, 

27 ya que el Padre mismo os ama porque me habéis amado y habéis creído que yo he venido de parte de Dios. 

28 Salí del Padre y vine al mundo; ahora dejo de nuevo el mundo y vuelvo al Padre».

29 ―Ahora sí estás hablando directamente, sin vueltas ni rodeos —le dijeron sus discípulos—. 

30 Ya podemos ver que sabes todas las cosas, y que ni siquiera necesitas que nadie te haga preguntas. Por esto creemos que saliste de Dios.

31 ―¿Ahora me creéis? —contestó Jesús—. 

32 Mirad que la hora viene, y ya está aquí, en que seréis dispersados, y cada uno se irá a su propia casa y a mí me dejaréis solo. Sin embargo, solo no estoy, porque el Padre está conmigo. 

33 Yo os he dicho estas cosas para que en mí tengáis paz. En este mundo tendréis aflicciones, pero ¡tened ánimo! Yo he vencido al mundo.

John 16:25-33 (NKJV)

25 “These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. 

26 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; 

27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. 

28 I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”

29 His disciples said to Him, “See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! 

30 Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God.”

31 Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe? 

32 Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. 

33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Mateo 5:43-48 (NVI)

43 »Habéis oído que se dijo: “Ama a tu prójimo y odia a tu enemigo”.

44 Pero yo os digo: Amad a vuestros enemigos y orad por quienes os persiguen,

45 para que seáis hijos de vuestro Padre que está en el cielo. Él hace que salga el sol sobre malos y buenos, y que llueva sobre justos e injustos.

46 Si amáis solamente a quienes os aman, ¿qué recompensa recibiréis? ¿Acaso no hacen eso hasta los recaudadores de impuestos ?

43 You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.”

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?

48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

13 Tu reino es un reino eterno; tu dominio permanece por todos los tiempos. Fiel es el Señor a su palabra y bondadoso en todas sus obras.
14 El Señor levanta a los caídos y sostiene a los agobiados.
15 Los ojos de todos se posan en ti, y a su tiempo les das su alimento.
16 Abres la mano y sacias con tus favores a todo ser vivo.
17 El Señor es justo en todos sus caminos y bondadoso en todas sus obras.
18 El Señor está cerca de quienes lo invocan, de quienes lo invocan de verdad.
19 Cumple los deseos de quienes le temen; atiende a su clamor y los salva.
20 El Señor cuida a todos los que lo aman, pero aniquilará a todos los impíos.
