Salmo 37:1-9 (NVI)
1 No te irrites a causa de los impíos ni envidies a los que cometen injusticias;
2 porque pronto se marchitan, como la hierba; pronto se secan, como el verdor del pasto.
3 Confía en el Señor y haz el bien; establécete en la tierra y mantente fiel.
4 Deléitate en el Señor , y él te concederá los deseos de tu corazón .
5 Encomienda al Señor tu camino ; confía en él, y él actuará.
6 Hará que tu justicia resplandezca como el alba; tu justa causa, como el sol de mediodía.
7 Guarda silencio ante el Señor , y espera en él con paciencia; no te irrites ante el éxito de otros, de los que maquinan planes malvados.
8 Refrena tu enojo, abandona la ira; no te irrites, pues esto conduce al mal.
9 Porque los impíos serán exterminados, pero los que esperan en el Señor heredarán la tierra.

1 Timoteo 2:1-7 (NVI)
1 Así que recomiendo, ante todo, que se hagan plegarias, oraciones, súplicas y acciones de gracias por todos,
2 especialmente por los gobernantes y por todas las autoridades, para que tengamos paz y tranquilidad, y llevemos una vida piadosa y digna.
3 Esto es bueno y agradable a Dios nuestro Salvador,
4 pues él quiere que todos sean salvos y lleguen a conocer la verdad.
5 Porque hay un solo Dios y un solo mediador entre Dios y los hombres, Jesucristo hombre,
6 quien dio su vida como rescate por todos. Este testimonio Dios lo ha dado a su debido tiempo,
7 y para proclamarlo me nombró heraldo y apóstol. Digo la verdad y no miento: Dios me hizo maestro de los gentiles para enseñarles la verdadera fe.

I Timothy 2:1-7 (NKJV)
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,
7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

Romanos 8:26-30 (NVI)
26 Así mismo, en nuestra debilidad el Espíritu acude a ayudarnos. No sabemos qué pedir, pero el Espíritu mismo intercede por nosotros con gemidos que no pueden expresarse con palabras.
27 Y Dios, que examina los corazones, sabe cuál es la intención del Espíritu, porque el Espíritu intercede por los creyentes conforme a la voluntad de Dios.
28 Ahora bien, sabemos que Dios dispone todas las cosas para el bien de quienes lo aman, los que han sido llamados de acuerdo con su propósito.
29 Porque a los que Dios conoció de antemano, también los predestinó a ser transformados según la imagen de su Hijo, para que él sea el primogénito entre muchos hermanos.
30 A los que predestinó, también los llamó; a los que llamó, también los justificó; y a los que justificó, también los glorificó.

Romans 8:26-30 (NKJV)
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

1 Cuánto te amo, Señor , fuerza mía!
2 El Señor es mi roca , mi amparo, mi libertador; es mi Dios, el peñasco en que me refugio. Es mi escudo, el poder que me salva, ¡mi más alto escondite!
3 Invoco al Señor , que es digno de alabanza, y quedo a salvo de mis enemigos.
4 Los lazos de la muerte me envolvieron; los torrentes destructores me abrumaron.
5 Me enredaron los lazos del sepulcro , y me encontré ante las trampas de la muerte.
6 En mi angustia invoqué al Señor ; clamé a mi Dios, y él me escuchó desde su templo; ¡mi clamor llegó a sus oídos!
