2 Corintios 12:7-10 (NVI) 7 Para evitar que me volviera presumido por estas sublimes revelaciones, una espina me fue clavada en el cuerpo, es decir, un mensajero de Satanás, para que me atormentara. 8 Tres veces le rogué al Señor que me la quitara; 9 pero él me dijo: «Te basta con mi gracia, pues mi poder se perfecciona en la debilidad». Por lo tanto, gustosamente haré más bien alarde de mis debilidades, para que permanezca sobre mí el poder de Cristo. 10 Por eso me regocijo en las debilidades, insultos, privaciones, persecuciones y dificultades que sufro por Cristo; porque, cuando soy débil, entonces soy fuerte.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (NKJV) 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Salmo 19:1-14 (NVI) 1 Los cielos cuentan la gloria de Dios, el firmamento proclama la obra de sus manos. 2 Un día cuenta al otro la noticia, una noche a la otra comparte su saber. 3 Sin palabras, sin lenguaje, sin una voz perceptible, 4 por toda la tierra resuena su eco, ¡sus palabras llegan hasta los confines del mundo! El mandato del Señor es digno de confianza: da sabiduría al sencillo . 8 Los preceptos del Señor son rectos: traen alegría al corazón . El mandamiento del Señor es claro: da luz a los ojos. 9 El temor del Señor es puro: permanece para siempre. Las sentencias del Señor son verdaderas: todas ellas son justas. 10 Son más deseables que el oro, más que mucho oro refinado; son más dulces que la miel, la miel que destila del panal. 11 Por ellas queda advertido tu siervo; quien las obedece recibe una gran recompensa. 12 ¿Quién está consciente de sus propios errores? ¡Perdóname aquellos de los que no soy consciente! 13 Libra, además, a tu siervo de pecar a sabiendas; no permitas que tales pecados me dominen. Así estaré libre de culpa y de multiplicar mis pecados. 14 Sean, pues, aceptables ante ti mis palabras y mis pensamientos, oh Señor , roca mía y redentor mío.
Psalms 19:1-14 (NKJV) 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. Hebreos 10:19-25 (NVI) 19 Así que, hermanos, mediante la sangre de Jesús, tenemos plena libertad para entrar en el Lugar Santísimo, 20 por el camino nuevo y vivo que él nos ha abierto a través de la cortina, es decir, a través de su cuerpo; 21 y tenemos además un gran sacerdote al frente de la familia de Dios. 22 Acerquémonos, pues, a Dios con corazón sincero y con la plena seguridad que da la fe, interiormente purificados de una conciencia culpable y exteriormente lavados con agua pura. 23 Mantengamos firme la esperanza que profesamos, porque fiel es el que hizo la promesa. 24 Preocupémonos los unos por los otros, a fin de estimularnos al amor y a las buenas obras. 25 No dejemos de congregarnos, como acostumbran hacerlo algunos, sino animémonos unos a otros, y con mayor razón ahora que vemos que aquel día se acerca.
Hebrews 10:19-25 (NKJV) 19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.’
Juan 14:1-6 (NVI) 1 No os angustiéis. Confiad en Dios, confiad también en mí. 2 En el hogar de mi Padre hay muchas viviendas; si no fuera así, ya os lo habría dicho. Voy a prepararos un lugar. 3 Y, si me voy y os lo preparo, vendré para llevaros conmigo. Así estaréis donde yo esté. 4 Vosotros ya conocéis el camino para ir a donde yo voy. 5 Dijo entonces Tomás: ―Señor, no sabemos a dónde vas, así que ¿cómo podemos conocer el camino? 6 ―Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida —le contestó Jesús—. Nadie llega al Padre sino por mí.‘
