Salmos 46:1-3 (NVI)

1 Dios es nuestro refugio y nuestra fortaleza, nuestra segura ayuda en momentos de angustia.
2 Por eso, no temeremos aunque se desmorone la tierra y las montañas se hundan en el fondo del mar;
3 aunque rujan y se encrespen sus aguas, y ante su furia retiemblen los montes.

2 Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Romanos 12:9-21 (NVI)

9 El amor debe ser sincero. Aborreced el mal; aferraos al bien.
10 Amaos los unos a los otros con amor fraternal, respetándoos y honrándoos mutuamente.
11 Nunca dejéis de ser diligentes; antes bien, servid al Señor con el fervor que da el Espíritu.
12 Alegraos en la esperanza, mostrad paciencia en el sufrimiento, perseverad en la oración.
13 Ayudad a los hermanos necesitados. Practicad la hospitalidad.
14 Bendecid a quienes os persigan; bendecid y no maldigáis.
15 Alegraos con los que están alegres; llorad con los que lloran.
16 Vivid en armonía los unos con los otros. No seáis arrogantes, sino haceos solidarios con los humildes. No os creáis que sois los únicos que sabéis.
17 No paguéis a nadie mal por mal. Procurad hacer lo bueno delante de todos.
18 Si es posible, y en cuanto dependa de vosotros, vivid en paz con todos.
19 No os venguéis, hermanos míos, sino dejad el castigo en las manos de Dios, porque está escrito: «Mía es la venganza; yo pagaré», dice el Señor.
20 Antes bien, «Si tu enemigo tiene hambre, dale de comer; si tiene sed, dale de beber. Actuando así, harás que se avergüence de su conducta».
21 No te dejes vencer por el mal; al contrario, vence el mal con el bien.

Romans 12:9-21 (NKJV)

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 Corintios 13:1-13 (NVI)

1 Si hablo en lenguas humanas y angelicales, pero no tengo amor, no soy más que un metal que resuena o un platillo que hace ruido.
2 Si tengo el don de profecía y entiendo todos los misterios y poseo todo conocimiento, y si tengo una fe que logra trasladar montañas, pero me falta el amor, no soy nada.
3 Si reparto entre los pobres todo lo que poseo, y si entrego mi cuerpo para que lo consuman las llamas, pero no tengo amor, nada gano con eso.
4 El amor es paciente, es bondadoso. El amor no es envidioso ni jactancioso ni orgulloso.
5 No se comporta con rudeza, no es egoísta, no se enoja fácilmente, no guarda rencor.
6 El amor no se deleita en la maldad, sino que se regocija con la verdad.
7 Todo lo disculpa, todo lo cree, todo lo espera, todo lo soporta.
8 El amor jamás se extingue, mientras que el don de profecía cesará, el de lenguas será silenciado y el de conocimiento desaparecerá.
9 Porque conocemos y profetizamos de manera imperfecta;
10 pero cuando llegue lo perfecto, lo imperfecto desaparecerá.
11 Cuando yo era niño, hablaba como niño, pensaba como niño, razonaba como niño; cuando llegué a ser adulto, dejé atrás las cosas de niño.
12 Ahora vemos de manera indirecta y velada, como en un espejo; pero entonces veremos cara a cara. Ahora conozco de manera imperfecta, pero entonces conoceré tal y como soy conocido.
13 Ahora, pues, permanecen estas tres virtudes: la fe, la esperanza y el amor. Pero la más excelente de ellas es el amor.

1 Corinthians 13: 1-13 (NKJV)

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Colosenses 3:18-25 (NVI)

18 Esposas, someteos a vuestros esposos, como conviene en el Señor.
19 Esposos, amad a vuestras esposas y no seáis duros con ellas.
20 Hijos, obedeced a vuestros padres en todo, porque esto agrada al Señor.
21 Padres, no exasperéis a vuestros hijos, no sea que se desanimen.
22 Esclavos, obedeced en todo a vuestros amos terrenales, no solo cuando ellos os estén mirando, como si vosotros quisierais ganaros el favor humano, sino con integridad de corazón y por respeto al Señor.
23 Hagáis lo que hagáis, trabajad de buena gana, como para el Señor y no como para nadie en este mundo,
24 conscientes de que el Señor os recompensará con la herencia. Vosotros servís a Cristo el Señor.
25 El que hace el mal pagará por su propia maldad, y en esto no hay favoritismos.

Colossians 3:18-25 (NKJV)

18 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

Colosenses 3:12-17 (NVI)

12 Por lo tanto, como escogidos de Dios, santos y amados, revestíos de afecto entrañable y de bondad, humildad, amabilidad y paciencia,
13 de modo que os toleréis unos a otros y os perdonéis si alguno tiene queja contra otro. Así como el Señor os perdonó, perdonad también vosotros.
14 Por encima de todo, vestíos de amor, que es el vínculo perfecto.
15 Que gobierne en vuestros corazones la paz de Cristo, a la cual fuisteis llamados en un solo cuerpo. Y sed agradecidos.
16 Que habite en vosotros la palabra de Cristo con toda su riqueza: instruíos y aconsejaos unos a otros con toda sabiduría; cantad salmos, himnos y canciones espirituales a Dios, con gratitud de corazón.
17 Y todo lo que hagáis, de palabra o de obra, hacedlo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, dando gracias a Dios el Padre por medio de él.

Colossians 3:12-17 (NKJV)

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
