It’s celebration time!

The official opening of the Word for the Way blog was December 30, 2018. Since that time we’ve gained 15 followers. I’m so excited to have reached this mile-marker. I can hardly wait until we reach 25, then 50, then 100, then…. Who knows?

I want to extend to each of my followers a heartfelt thanks for joining me. And thank you for your kind words of encouragment. You’re all awesome! I hope that the Word for the Way blog continues to minister in your life for years to come.

I’d also like to extend an invitation to family, friends, and those who I do not yet know (potential new friends) to join our ever increasing group of followers. The Word of God that you find here will be a blessing in your lives.

As the days, weeks, and months go by, Word for the Way continues its daily mission of sharing God’s Word as a means of strengthening and encouraging people as they travel through life. I sincerely appreciate your prayers as this ministry continues to grow and move forward for the cause of Christ.

God bless!!

In Malawi, where almost 1 million people have been affected by floods, aid workers said they were worried about the spread of disease in some 170 makeshift camps where more than 125,000 people have sought refuge without sufficient toilets.  “This may be the most devastating such disaster in the region’s history, and its damage can escalate quickly if we do not act immediately,” said Concern Worldwide’s U.S. chief executive Colleen Kelly.

At least half a million survivors of a powerful cyclone in southeast Africa are at risk of fatal diseases, from cholera and dysentery to malaria, aid workers warned on Thursday, as rescue teams struggled to reach flood-hit communities.

Jeremy & Kasey

I believe the Lord saved our lives yesterday. My son, Jeremy, his two sons, Danette, and I were driving to Nashville for Jeremy & Kasey’s wedding shower. Jeremy was driving. I’ll post his testimony as to what happened. Again, God’s providence took care of us. Continue reading “God’s Providence Comes Through Again”

WordfortheWay.net is now legit!!

We’ve successfully registered our domain name WordfortheWay.net. This is a major milestone in the site’s brief existence.

The big difference for you, the reader, is the removal of all of those pesky ads! I really got tired of those. This registration also opens up some more functionality for me as the administrator of the site. (I’ve got some more learning to do.)

Stay tuned for an even better Word for the Way!
