Romans 12:1-8 (NKJV)

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,

5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;

7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;

8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Mateo 6:25-34 (NVI)

25 Por eso os digo: No os preocupéis por vuestra vida, qué comeréis o beberéis; ni por vuestro cuerpo, cómo os vestiréis. ¿No tiene la vida más valor que la comida, y el cuerpo más que la ropa?

26 Fijaos en las aves del cielo: no siembran ni cosechan ni almacenan en graneros; sin embargo, el Padre celestial las alimenta. ¿No valéis vosotros mucho más que ellas?

27 ¿Quién de vosotros, por mucho que se preocupe, puede añadir una sola hora al curso de su vida?

28 ¿Y por qué os preocupáis por el vestido? Observad cómo crecen los lirios del campo. No trabajan ni hilan;

29 sin embargo, os digo que ni siquiera Salomón, con todo su esplendor, se vestía como uno de ellos.

30 Si así viste Dios a la hierba que hoy está en el campo y mañana es arrojada al horno, ¿no hará mucho más por vosotros, gente de poca fe?

31 Así que no os preocupéis diciendo: “¿Qué comeremos?” o “¿Qué beberemos?” o “¿Con qué nos vestiremos?”

32 Los paganos andan tras todas estas cosas, pero el Padre celestial sabe que necesitáis de todo esto.

33 Más bien, buscad primeramente el reino de Dios y su justicia, y todas estas cosas os serán añadidas.

34 Por lo tanto, no os angustiéis por el mañana, el cual tendrá sus propios afanes. Cada día tiene ya sus problemas.

Matthew 6:25-34 (NKJV)

25 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;

29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 Therefore do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?”

32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Efesios 6:17-20 (NVI)

17 Tomad el casco de la salvación y la espada del Espíritu, que es la palabra de Dios.

19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Deuteronômio 31:3-6 (NVI)

3 Pues ha ordenado que sea Josué quien lo cruce al frente de ustedes. El Señor su Dios marchará al frente de ustedes para destruir a todas las naciones que encuentren a su paso y ustedes se apoderarán de su territorio.

4 El Señor las arrasará como arrasó a Sijón y a Og, los reyes de los amorreos, junto con sus países.

3 The Lord your God Himself crosses over before you; He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua himself crosses over before you, just as the Lord has said.

4 And the Lord will do to them as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites and their land, when He destroyed them.

5 The Lord will give them over to you, that you may do to them according to every commandment which I have commanded you.

6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Salmo 95:1-7 (NVI)

1 Venid, cantemos con júbilo al Señor; aclamemos a la roca de nuestra salvación.

Juan 8:1-12 (NVI)

1 Pero Jesús se fue al monte de los Olivos.
2 Al amanecer se presentó de nuevo en el templo. Toda la gente se le acercó, y él se sentó a enseñarles.
3 Los maestros de la ley y los fariseos llevaron entonces a una mujer sorprendida en adulterio y, poniéndola en medio del grupo,

7 Y, como ellos lo acosaran con preguntas, Jesús se incorporó y les dijo:
―Aquel de vosotros que esté libre de pecado, que tire la primera piedra.
8 E inclinándose de nuevo, siguió escribiendo en el suelo.
9 Al oír esto, se fueron retirando uno tras otro, comenzando por los más viejos, hasta dejar a Jesús solo con la mujer, que aún seguía allí.
10 Entonces se incorporó Jesús y le preguntó:
―Mujer, ¿dónde están? ¿Ya nadie te condena?
11 ―Nadie, Señor.
―Tampoco yo te condeno. Ahora vete, y no vuelvas a pecar.
Validez del testimonio de Jesús
12 Una vez más, Jesús se dirigió a la gente, y les dijo:
―Yo soy la luz del mundo. El que me sigue no andará en tinieblas, sino que tendrá la luz de la vida.
