#lighthousejackson – This is going to be an awesome time geared specifically for youth but enjoyed by all. Friday, February 8 — the service will be held at Lighthouse Church at 7:30pm — 1435 Old Humboldt Road, in Jackson, TN. Fun, Food, & Fellowship to follow at the Sky Zone Trampoline Park.
I’m happy to say that I finally finished scheduling the 12 month Bible Reading portion of the blog. Whew!! Now that was a chore. The daily blogs that have each day’s Bible Reading coincide with the Monthly Bible Reading Charts on the blog as well as the ones we passed out at the Lighthouse Church.
I underestimated the amount of time that it would take me to complete this phase (by a whole lot). It ended up taking about 80 hours to finish it. I had to put everything else I had scheduled for the blog on hold pending completion of this. I was afraid to stop.
Here are a few stats. The King James Version of the Bible has:
66 Books — 39 Old Testament + 27 New Testament

Never Focus on the Fog
In 1952, thirty-one year old Florence Chadwick stepped into the chilly waters of the Pacific Ocean to start the 26 mile swim from Catalina Island to the California coastline. This was an attempt to become the first woman to swim across this vast expanse of ocean. She was flanked by small boats whose occupants kept an eye out for sharks and were ready to come to her rescue should she be injured or should she grow weary and unable to continue the strenuous journey. Help In Time of Need

Welcome! Thanks for joining me on this journey through life. Make yourself at home. Check out the various pages and blogs. Be sure to leave me a comment to let me know you came by. I sincerely hope that you enjoy your time with me and that you’ll come by often.
I pray that God will use this blog to encourage and inspire you. If you can find peace, strength, or direction for your personal journey here, that will be mission accomplished for Word for the Way!
Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
A lot has been accomplished in the last 3 days. Bible Reading material is loaded that will cover through the first week in June. This part of the work is tedious, but I’m sure it will be well worth the effort. Kenny G is keeping me relaxed while I work.
I apologize for the ads. It appears I have met the quota for pages that triggered the “add ads” option. Right now I don’t have to pay anything to use WordPress to publish Word for the Way. The ads will only be removed when I choose to start on one of their pay plan options. I will do this in due time, just not today.
