Proverbs 1:1-7 (NKJV)
1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel: 
2 To know wisdom and instruction, To perceive the words of understanding, 
3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity; 
4 To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion— 
5 A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, 
6 To understand a proverb and an enigma, The words of the wise and their riddles. 
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbios 1:1-7 (NVI)
1 Proverbios de Salomón hijo de David, rey de Israel: 
2 para adquirir sabiduría y disciplina ; para discernir palabras de inteligencia; 
3 para recibir la corrección que dan la prudencia, la rectitud, la justicia y la equidad; 
4 para infundir sagacidad en los inexpertos , conocimiento y discreción en los jóvenes. 
5 Escuche esto el sabio, y aumente su saber; reciba dirección el entendido, 
6 para discernir el proverbio y la parábola , los dichos de los sabios y sus enigmas. 
7 El temor del Señor es el principio del conocimiento; los necios desprecian la sabiduría y la disciplina.

2 Corinthians 9:5-15 (NKJV)
5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your generous gift beforehand, which you had previously promised, that it may be ready as a matter of generosity and not as a grudging obligation. 
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 
9 As it is written:  “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” 
10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 
11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 
12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 
13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, 
14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. 
15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

2 Corintios 9:5-15 (NVI)
5 Así que me pareció necesario rogar a estos hermanos que se adelantaran a visitaros y completaran los preparativos para esa generosa colecta que habíais prometido. Entonces estará lista como una ofrenda generosa, y no como una tacañería. 
6 Recordad esto: El que siembra escasamente, escasamente cosechará, y el que siembra en abundancia, en abundancia cosechará. 
7 Cada uno debe dar según lo que haya decidido en su corazón, no de mala gana ni por obligación, porque Dios ama al que da con alegría. 
8 Y Dios puede hacer que toda gracia abunde para vosotros, de manera que siempre, en toda circunstancia, tengáis todo lo necesario, y toda buena obra abunde en vosotros. 
9 Como está escrito: «Repartió sus bienes entre los pobres; su justicia permanece para siempre». 
10 El que le suple semilla al que siembra también le suplirá pan para que coma, aumentará los cultivos y hará que produzcáis una abundante cosecha de justicia. 
11 Seréis enriquecidos en todo sentido para que en toda ocasión podáis ser generosos, y para que por medio de nosotros vuestra generosidad resulte en acciones de gracias a Dios. 
12 Esta ayuda que es un servicio sagrado no solo suple las necesidades de los santos , sino que también redunda en abundantes acciones de gracias a Dios. 
13 En efecto, al recibir esta demostración de servicio, ellos alabarán a Dios por la obediencia con que vosotros acompañáis la confesión del evangelio de Cristo, y por vuestra generosa solidaridad con ellos y con todos. 
14 Además, en las oraciones de ellos por vosotros, expresarán el afecto que os tienen por la sobreabundante gracia que habéis recibido de Dios. 
15 ¡Gracias a Dios por su don inefable!

John 1:1-5; 14 (NKJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Juan 1:1-5, 14 (NVI)
1 En el principio ya existía el Verbo , y el Verbo estaba con Dios, y el Verbo era Dios. 
2 Él estaba con Dios en el principio. 
3 Por medio de él todas las cosas fueron creadas; sin él, nada de lo creado llegó a existir. 
4 En él estaba la vida, y la vida era la luz de la humanidad. 
5 Esta luz resplandece en las tinieblas, y las tinieblas no han podido extinguirla. 

14 Y el Verbo se hizo hombre y habitó entre nosotros. Y hemos contemplado su gloria, la gloria que corresponde al Hijo unigénito del Padre, lleno de gracia y de verdad.

Matthew 5:1-11 (NKJV)
1 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 
2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Mateo 5:1-11 (NVI)
1 Cuando vio a las multitudes, subió a la ladera de una montaña y se sentó. Sus discípulos se le acercaron, 
2 y, tomando él la palabra, comenzó a enseñarles diciendo: 
3 Dichosos los pobres en espíritu, porque el reino de los cielos les pertenece. 
4 Dichosos los que lloran, porque serán consolados. 
5 Dichosos los humildes, porque recibirán la tierra como herencia. 
6 Dichosos los que tienen hambre y sed de justicia, porque serán saciados. 
7 Dichosos los compasivos, porque serán tratados con compasión. 
8 Dichosos los de corazón limpio, porque ellos verán a Dios. 
9 Dichosos los que trabajan por la paz, porque serán llamados hijos de Dios. 
10 Dichosos los perseguidos por causa de la justicia, porque el reino de los cielos les pertenece. 
11 Dichosos seréis cuando por mi causa la gente os insulte, os persiga y levante contra vosotros toda clase de calumnias.

James 5:13-18 (NKJV)
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

Santiago 5:13-18 (NVI)
13 ¿Está afligido alguno entre vosotros? Que ore. ¿Está alguno de buen ánimo? Que cante alabanzas. 
14 ¿Está enfermo alguno de vosotros? Haga llamar a los ancianos de la iglesia para que oren por él y lo unjan con aceite en el nombre del Señor. 
15 La oración de fe sanará al enfermo y el Señor lo levantará. Y, si ha pecado, su pecado se le perdonará. 
16 Por eso, confesaos unos a otros vuestros pecados, y orad unos por otros, para que seáis sanados. La oración del justo es poderosa y eficaz.
17 Elías era un hombre con debilidades como las nuestras. Con fervor oró que no lloviera, y no llovió sobre la tierra durante tres años y medio. 
18 Volvió a orar, y el cielo dio su lluvia y la tierra produjo sus frutos.
