1 Pedro 4:1-8 (NVI)

1 Por tanto, ya que Cristo sufrió en el cuerpo, asumid también vosotros la misma actitud; porque el que ha sufrido en el cuerpo ha roto con el pecado,
2 para vivir el resto de su vida terrenal no satisfaciendo sus pasiones humanas, sino cumpliendo la voluntad de Dios.
3 Pues ya basta con el tiempo que habéis desperdiciado haciendo lo que agrada a los incrédulos, entregados al desenfreno, a las pasiones, a las borracheras, a las orgías, a las parrandas y a las idolatrías abominables.
4 A ellos les parece extraño que vosotros ya no corráis con ellos en ese mismo desbordamiento de inmoralidad, y por eso os insultan.
5 Pero ellos tendrán que rendirle cuentas a aquel que está preparado para juzgar a los vivos y a los muertos.
6 Por esto también se les predicó el evangelio aun a los muertos, para que, a pesar de haber sido juzgados según criterios humanos en lo que atañe al cuerpo, vivan conforme a Dios en lo que atañe al espíritu.
7 Ya se acerca el fin de todas las cosas. Así que, para orar bien, manteneos sobrios y con la mente despejada.
8 Sobre todo, amaos los unos a los otros profundamente, porque el amor cubre multitud de pecados.

1 Peter 4:1-8 (NKJV)

1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
3 For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.
4 In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.
5 They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Serving for God’s Glory
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”

Isaías 26:1-4 (NVI)

1 En aquel día se entonará esta canción en la tierra de Judá:
“Tenemos una ciudad fuerte. Como un muro, como un baluarte, Dios ha puesto su salvación.
2 Abrid las puertas, para que entre la nación justa que se mantiene fiel.

Salmo 19:7-11 (NVI)

7 La ley del Señor es perfecta: infunde nuevo aliento. El mandato del Señor es digno de confianza: da sabiduría al sencillo.
8 Los preceptos del Señor son rectos: traen alegría al corazón. El mandamiento del Señor es claro: da luz a los ojos.
9 El temor del Señor es puro: permanece para siempre. Las sentencias del Señor son verdaderas: todas ellas son justas.
10 Son más deseables que el oro, más que mucho oro refinado; son más dulces que la miel,

11 Por ellas queda advertido tu siervo; quien las obedece recibe una gran recompensa.

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Gálatas 6:6-10 (NVI)

6 El que recibe instrucción en la palabra de Dios comparta todo lo bueno con quien le enseña.
7 No os engañéis: de Dios nadie se burla. Cada uno cosecha lo que siembra.
8 El que siembra para agradar a su naturaleza pecaminosa, de esa misma naturaleza cosechará destrucción; el que siembra para agradar al Espíritu, del Espíritu cosechará vida eterna.
9 No nos cansemos de hacer el bien, porque a su debido tiempo cosecharemos si no nos damos por vencidos.
10 Por lo tanto, siempre que tengamos la oportunidad, hagamos bien a todos, y en especial a los de la familia de la fe.

Galatians 6:6-10 (NKJV)

6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

9 Vosotros, pues, orad así: “Padre nuestro que estás en el cielo,
