Romans 12:9-21 (NKJV)

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 Corintios 13:1-13 (NVI)

1 Si hablo en lenguas humanas y angelicales, pero no tengo amor, no soy más que un metal que resuena o un platillo que hace ruido.
2 Si tengo el don de profecía y entiendo todos los misterios y poseo todo conocimiento, y si tengo una fe que logra trasladar montañas, pero me falta el amor, no soy nada.
3 Si reparto entre los pobres todo lo que poseo, y si entrego mi cuerpo para que lo consuman las llamas, pero no tengo amor, nada gano con eso.
4 El amor es paciente, es bondadoso. El amor no es envidioso ni jactancioso ni orgulloso.
5 No se comporta con rudeza, no es egoísta, no se enoja fácilmente, no guarda rencor.
6 El amor no se deleita en la maldad, sino que se regocija con la verdad.
7 Todo lo disculpa, todo lo cree, todo lo espera, todo lo soporta.
8 El amor jamás se extingue, mientras que el don de profecía cesará, el de lenguas será silenciado y el de conocimiento desaparecerá.
9 Porque conocemos y profetizamos de manera imperfecta;
10 pero cuando llegue lo perfecto, lo imperfecto desaparecerá.
11 Cuando yo era niño, hablaba como niño, pensaba como niño, razonaba como niño; cuando llegué a ser adulto, dejé atrás las cosas de niño.
12 Ahora vemos de manera indirecta y velada, como en un espejo; pero entonces veremos cara a cara. Ahora conozco de manera imperfecta, pero entonces conoceré tal y como soy conocido.
13 Ahora, pues, permanecen estas tres virtudes: la fe, la esperanza y el amor. Pero la más excelente de ellas es el amor.

1 Corinthians 13: 1-13 (NKJV)

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Colosenses 3:18-25 (NVI)

18 Esposas, someteos a vuestros esposos, como conviene en el Señor.
19 Esposos, amad a vuestras esposas y no seáis duros con ellas.
20 Hijos, obedeced a vuestros padres en todo, porque esto agrada al Señor.
21 Padres, no exasperéis a vuestros hijos, no sea que se desanimen.
22 Esclavos, obedeced en todo a vuestros amos terrenales, no solo cuando ellos os estén mirando, como si vosotros quisierais ganaros el favor humano, sino con integridad de corazón y por respeto al Señor.
23 Hagáis lo que hagáis, trabajad de buena gana, como para el Señor y no como para nadie en este mundo,
24 conscientes de que el Señor os recompensará con la herencia. Vosotros servís a Cristo el Señor.
25 El que hace el mal pagará por su propia maldad, y en esto no hay favoritismos.

Colossians 3:18-25 (NKJV)

18 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

Colosenses 3:12-17 (NVI)

12 Por lo tanto, como escogidos de Dios, santos y amados, revestíos de afecto entrañable y de bondad, humildad, amabilidad y paciencia,
13 de modo que os toleréis unos a otros y os perdonéis si alguno tiene queja contra otro. Así como el Señor os perdonó, perdonad también vosotros.
14 Por encima de todo, vestíos de amor, que es el vínculo perfecto.
15 Que gobierne en vuestros corazones la paz de Cristo, a la cual fuisteis llamados en un solo cuerpo. Y sed agradecidos.
16 Que habite en vosotros la palabra de Cristo con toda su riqueza: instruíos y aconsejaos unos a otros con toda sabiduría; cantad salmos, himnos y canciones espirituales a Dios, con gratitud de corazón.
17 Y todo lo que hagáis, de palabra o de obra, hacedlo en el nombre del Señor Jesús, dando gracias a Dios el Padre por medio de él.

Colossians 3:12-17 (NKJV)

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Colosenses 3:1-11 (NVI)

1 Ya que habéis resucitado con Cristo, buscad las cosas de arriba, donde está Cristo sentado a la derecha de Dios.
2 Concentrad vuestra atención en las cosas de arriba, no en las de la tierra,
3 pues vosotros habéis muerto y vuestra vida está escondida con Cristo en Dios.
4 Cuando Cristo, que es vuestra vida, se manifieste, entonces también vosotros seréis manifestados con él en gloria.
5 Por tanto, haced morir todo lo que es propio de la naturaleza terrenal: inmoralidad sexual, impureza, bajas pasiones, malos deseos y avaricia, la cual es idolatría.
6 Por estas cosas viene el castigo de Dios.
7 Vosotros las practicasteis en otro tiempo, cuando vivíais en ellas.
8 Pero ahora abandonad también todo esto: enojo, ira, malicia, calumnia y lenguaje obsceno.
9 Dejad de mentiros unos a otros, ahora que os habéis quitado el ropaje de la vieja naturaleza con sus vicios,
10 y os habéis puesto el de la nueva naturaleza, que se va renovando en conocimiento a imagen de su creador.
11 En esta nueva naturaleza no hay griego ni judío, circunciso ni incircunciso, culto ni inculto, esclavo ni libre, sino que Cristo es todo y está en todos.

Colossians 3:1-11 (NKJV)

1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.
9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,
10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

Lucas 16:1-13 (NVI)

1 Jesús contó otra parábola a sus discípulos: «Un hombre rico tenía un administrador a quien acusaron de derrochar sus bienes.
2 Así que lo mandó llamar y le dijo: “¿Qué es esto que me dicen de ti? Rinde cuentas de tu administración, porque ya no puedes seguir en tu puesto”.
3 El administrador reflexionó: “¿Qué voy a hacer ahora que mi patrón va a quitarme del puesto? No tengo fuerzas para cavar, y me da vergüenza pedir limosna.
4 Tengo que asegurarme de que, cuando me echen de la administración, haya gente que me reciba en su casa. ¡Ya sé lo que voy a hacer!”
5 »Llamó entonces a cada uno de los que debían algo a su patrón. Al primero le preguntó: “¿Cuánto debes a mi patrón?”
6 “Cien barriles de aceite”, le contestó él. El administrador le dijo: “Toma tu factura, siéntate en seguida y escribe cincuenta”.
7 Luego preguntó al segundo: “Y tú, ¿cuánto debes?” “Cien sacos de trigo”, contestó. El administrador le dijo: “Toma tu factura y escribe ochenta”.
8 »Pues bien, el patrón elogió al administrador de riquezas mundanas por haber actuado con astucia. Es que los de este mundo, en su trato con los que son como ellos, son más astutos que los que han recibido la luz.
9 Por eso os digo que os valgáis de las riquezas mundanas para ganar amigos, a fin de que cuando estas se acaben haya quienes os reciban en las viviendas eternas.
10 »El que es honrado en lo poco también lo será en lo mucho; y el que no es íntegro en lo poco tampoco lo será en lo mucho.
11 Por eso, si no habéis sido honrados en el uso de las riquezas mundanas, ¿quién os confiará las verdaderas?
12 Y, si con lo ajeno no habéis sido honrados, ¿quién os dará lo que os pertenece?
13 »Ningún sirviente puede servir a dos patrones. Menospreciará a uno y amará al otro, o querrá mucho a uno y despreciará al otro. No podéis servir a la vez a Dios y a las riquezas».
