Mateos 7:21-29 (NVI)
21 »No todo el que me dice: “Señor, Señor”, entrará en el reino de los cielos, sino solo el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre que está en el cielo.
22 Muchos me dirán en aquel día: “Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre expulsamos demonios e hicimos muchos milagros?”
23 Entonces les diré claramente: “Jamás os conocí. ¡Alejaos de mí, hacedores de maldad!”
24 »Por tanto, todo el que me oye estas palabras y las pone en práctica es como un hombre prudente que construyó su casa sobre la roca.
25 Vinieron las lluvias, crecieron los ríos, y soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa; con todo, la casa no se derrumbó porque estaba cimentada sobre la roca.
26 Pero todo el que me oye estas palabras y no las pone en práctica es como un hombre insensato que construyó su casa sobre la arena.
27 Vino la lluvia, crecieron los ríos, soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa. Esta se derrumbó, y grande fue su ruina».
28 Cuando Jesús terminó de decir estas cosas, las multitudes se asombraron de su enseñanza,
29 porque les enseñaba como quien tiene autoridad, y no como los maestros de la ley.

John 1:1-17 (NKJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”
16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Juan 1:1-17 (NVI)
1 En el principio ya existía el Verbo, y el Verbo estaba con Dios, y el Verbo era Dios.
2 Él estaba con Dios en el principio.
3 Por medio de él todas las cosas fueron creadas; sin él, nada de lo creado llegó a existir.
4 En él estaba la vida, y la vida era la luz de la humanidad.
5 Esta luz resplandece en las tinieblas, y las tinieblas no han podido extinguirla.
6 Vino un hombre llamado Juan. Dios lo envió 7como testigo para dar testimonio de la luz, a fin de que por medio de él todos creyeran.
8 Juan no era la luz, sino que vino para dar testimonio de la luz.
9 Esa luz verdadera, la que alumbra a todo ser humano, venía a este mundo.
10 El que era la luz ya estaba en el mundo, y el mundo fue creado por medio de él, pero el mundo no lo reconoció.
11 Vino a lo que era suyo, pero los suyos no lo recibieron.
12 Mas a cuantos lo recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dio el derecho de ser hijos de Dios.
13 Estos no nacen de la sangre, ni por deseos naturales, ni por voluntad humana, sino que nacen de Dios.
14 Y el Verbo se hizo hombre y habitó entre nosotros. Y hemos contemplado su gloria, la gloria que corresponde al Hijo unigénito del Padre, lleno de gracia y de verdad.
15 Juan dio testimonio de él, y a voz en grito proclamó: «Este es aquel de quien yo decía: “El que viene después de mí es superior a mí, porque existía antes que yo”».
16 De su plenitud todos hemos recibido gracia sobre gracia,
17 pues la ley fue dada por medio de Moisés, mientras que la gracia y la verdad nos han llegado por medio de Jesucristo.

Psalms 27:1-8 (NKJV)
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
4 One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
5 For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;
Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle;

7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!
Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

Salmos 27:1-8 (NVI)
1 El Señor es mi luz y mi salvación;
¿a quién temeré?
El Señor es el baluarte de mi vida;
¿quién podrá amedrentarme?
2 Cuando los malvados avanzan contra mí
para devorar mis carnes,
cuando mis enemigos y adversarios me atacan,
son ellos los que tropiezan y caen.
3 Aun cuando un ejército me asedie,
no temerá mi corazón;
aun cuando una guerra estalle contra mí,
yo mantendré la confianza.
4 Una sola cosa le pido al Señor,
y es lo único que persigo:
habitar en la casa del Señor
todos los días de mi vida,
para contemplar la hermosura del Señor
y recrearme en su templo.
5 Porque en el día de la aflicción
él me resguardará en su morada;
al amparo de su tienda me protegerá,
y me pondrá en alto, sobre una roca.
6 Me hará prevalecer
frente a los enemigos que me rodean;
en su templo ofreceré sacrificios de alabanza
y cantaré salmos al Señor.
7 Oye, Señor, mi voz cuando a ti clamo;
compadécete de mí y respóndeme.
8 El corazón me dice: «¡Busca su rostro!»
Y yo, Señor, tu rostro busco.

Psalms 3:1-8 (NKJV)
1 Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.
2 Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” -Selah
3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.
4 I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. -Selah
5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.
7 Arise, O Lord; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people.

Salmos 3:1-8 (NVI)
1 Muchos son, Señor, mis enemigos; muchos son los que se oponen a mí,
2 y muchos los que de mí aseguran: «Dios no lo salvará». -Selah
3 Pero tú, Señor, me rodeas cual escudo; tú eres mi gloria; ¡tú mantienes en alto mi cabeza!
4 Clamo al Señor a gritos, y desde su monte santo él me responde. -Selah
5 Yo me acuesto, me duermo y vuelvo a despertar, porque el Señor me sostiene.
6 No me asustan los numerosos pueblos que me acosan por doquier.
7 ¡Levántate, Señor! ¡Ponme a salvo, Dios mío! ¡Rómpeles la quijada a mis enemigos! ¡Rómpeles los dientes a los malvados!
8 Tuya es, Señor, la salvación; ¡envía tu bendición sobre tu pueblo!

2 Corinthians 9:6-15 (NKJV)
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
9 As it is written:
“He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.”
10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,
11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,
13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men,
14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you.
15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

2 Corintios 9:6-15 (NVI)
6 Recordad esto: El que siembra escasamente, escasamente cosechará, y el que siembra en abundancia, en abundancia cosechará.
7 Cada uno debe dar según lo que haya decidido en su corazón, no de mala gana ni por obligación, porque Dios ama al que da con alegría.
8 Y Dios puede hacer que toda gracia abunde para vosotros, de manera que siempre, en toda circunstancia, tengáis todo lo necesario, y toda buena obra abunde en vosotros.
9 Como está escrito:
«Repartió sus bienes entre los pobres; su justicia permanece para siempre».
10 El que le suple semilla al que siembra también le suplirá pan para que coma, aumentará los cultivos y hará que produzcáis una abundante cosecha de justicia. 11 Seréis enriquecidos en todo sentido para que en toda ocasión podáis ser generosos, y para que por medio de nosotros vuestra generosidad resulte en acciones de gracias a Dios.
12 Esta ayuda que es un servicio sagrado no solo suple las necesidades de los santos, sino que también redunda en abundantes acciones de gracias a Dios.
13 En efecto, al recibir esta demostración de servicio, ellos alabarán a Dios por la obediencia con que vosotros acompañáis la confesión del evangelio de Cristo, y por vuestra generosa solidaridad con ellos y con todos.
14 Además, en las oraciones de ellos por vosotros, expresarán el afecto que os tienen por la sobreabundante gracia que habéis recibido de Dios.
15 ¡Gracias a Dios por su don inefable!

1 Peter 5:6-11 (NKJV)
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
