Joel 2:12-17 (NVI)

12 «Ahora bien —afirma el Señor—, volveos a mí de todo corazón, con ayuno, llantos y lamentos».
13 Rasgaos el corazón y no las vestiduras. Volveos al Señor vuestro Dios, porque él es bondadoso y compasivo, lento para la ira y lleno de amor,
ambia de parecer y no castiga.
14 Tal vez Dios reconsidere y cambie de parecer, y deje tras de sí una bendición. Las ofrendas de cereales y las libaciones son del Señor vuestro Dios.
15 Tocad la trompeta en Sión, proclamad el ayuno, convocad una asamblea solemne.
16 Congregad al pueblo, purificad la asamblea; juntad a los ancianos del pueblo, reunid a los pequeños y a los niños de pecho. Que salga de su alcoba el recién casado, y la recién casada de su cámara nupcial.

12 “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.
14 Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him— A grain offering and a drink offering For the Lord your God?
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly;
16 Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room.
17 Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ ”

Salmo 51:10-13 (NVI)

16 Os envío como ovejas en medio de lobos. Por tanto, sed astutos como serpientes y sencillos como palomas.
17 »Tened cuidado con la gente; os entregarán a los tribunales y os azotarán en las sinagogas.
18 Por mi causa os llevarán ante gobernadores y reyes para dar testimonio a ellos y a los gentiles.
19 Pero, cuando os arresten, no os preocupéis por lo que vais a decir o cómo vais a decirlo. En ese momento se os dará lo que habéis de decir,
20 porque no seréis vosotros los que habléis, sino que el Espíritu de vuestro Padre hablará por medio de vosotros.

16 Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues.
18 You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak;
20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

Gálatas 5:16-26 (NVI)

16 Así que os digo: Vivid por el Espíritu, y no seguiréis los deseos de la naturaleza pecaminosa.
17 Porque esta desea lo que es contrario al Espíritu, y el Espíritu desea lo que es contrario a ella. Los dos se oponen entre sí, de modo que no podéis hacer lo que quisierais.
18 Pero, si os guía el Espíritu, no estáis bajo la ley.
19 Las obras de la naturaleza pecaminosa se conocen bien: inmoralidad sexual, impureza y libertinaje;
20 idolatría y brujería; odio, discordia, celos, arrebatos de ira, rivalidades, disensiones, sectarismos
21 y envidia; borracheras, orgías, y otras cosas parecidas. Os advierto ahora, como antes lo hice, que los que practican tales cosas no heredarán el reino de Dios.
22 En cambio, el fruto del Espíritu es amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, amabilidad, bondad, fidelidad,
23 humildad y dominio propio. No hay ley que condene estas cosas.
24 Los que son de Cristo Jesús han crucificado la naturaleza pecaminosa, con sus pasiones y deseos.
25 Si el Espíritu nos da vida, andemos guiados por el Espíritu.
26 No dejemos que la vanidad nos lleve a irritarnos y a envidiarnos unos a otros.

Galatians 5:16-26 (NKJV)

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
